Back in January, Erath County went UFO crazy after a handful of people reported similar lights over Stephenville. International press and UFO hunters descended on the town. This time, many more eye witnesses are phoning the Stephenville Empire Tribune, or the ET.

Whitney Ashley, reporter, Stephenville Empire Tribune: "I've got at least 10, right now willing, to go on record."

Reporter Whitney Ashley said many people don't want to talk publicly, like several workers at the paper, who also saw the lights.

Ashley: "The Sheriff's Department got lots of calls in the southern part of Erath County, down around Dublin, home of Dr. Pepper. Well, actually my brother called last night, said he saw some stuff down by the Austin area."

The description sounded a lot like this: "3 lights strobing, and they disappeared, and then three more appeared to the ight and left of it."

The Joint Reserve Base, in Fort Worth confirms seven F-16s training in the area, at the time. Several witnesses told us they saw the fighters, after they saw the mysterious lights.

STEPHENVILLE - Over a three-month period this summer there were 1,000 UFO sightings filed with the National UFO Reporting Center.

Some 75 of those UFOs were reported over the state of Texas.

Stephenville is one hot spot we've shown you before.

Now the small town is getting buzzed by UFOs again.

"You could see the oval shape. Got my friend, I said 'dude, you got to come look at this,'" said Andy Monrreal.

Monrreal was hanging out with his Dublin High School friends when they all saw something they say looked like a UFO.

"You could see a shape. It was like a complete circle," said Monrreal.

He rolled off a half minute of video on his mom's digital camera.

His dad saw it too.

"I never seen nothing like that in my life. Big lights and everything," his father said.

So did mom.

"It was a round thing. You could see lights around it, flickering and changing. It was awesome. Just turning and flickering," she said.

This time, many more eye witnesses are phoning the Stephenville Empire Tribune or the ET.

"These don't look like conventional flying lights of any kind," said Jay Miller, aviation photographer.

Miller has snapped hundreds of different aircraft from all angles all over the world.He says lights don't appear to be F-16s.

"I'm not saying this isn't an airplane, but the arrangement, color what have you isn't what I would consider normal for a fixed wing plane," said Miller.

Some witnesses also reported seeing flares.

"I'm very familiar with flares, and they would react much differently than this," said Miller

Although Jay Miller is puzzled by the lights, the do leave him with one overriding impression.

"They don't look extra-terrestrial to me. They look very much man-made," said Miller.

Andy Monrreal is staring at it again. A videotape he shot of what he and friends say has to be a UFO. Monrreal says, "I'm amazed." On Thursday night, the Dublin teenager was doing what he usually does, play pool with friends. Then he and a buddy took a break and walked outside on the back porch. Monrreal says, "I looked up in the sky and saw these lights and I was like whoa. I started thinking it looks like a UFO. His mom heard him screaming for the camera, "Ah, ah, mom, there's something. I don't remember what his exact words were." Other buddies dropped their pool cues.. And came running. Mitchell Greenway says he saw, "Bright lights. I thought Andy was crazy." Another friend agrees, "He was just banging at the window."

But now Andy, his friends and parents are convinced it was a UFO. Jesse Bamber says, "I just saw all the bright lights, They were just going in and out." Andy's mom, Maricella Monrreal says, "It was just all these flashing lights flicking lights, you know, round in a circle, just moving fast something we've never seen before." Andy says, "I saw the US Army jets flying by it, like 2 of them, it;d come back, again, then 2 more. I guess UFO's are real."

That pains Andy's pals a bit, who in January thought their fellow Erath County residents were crazy after multiple reports of UFO sightings in nearby Stephenville. Mitchell Greenway says, "I thought now I don't need to say bad things about people anymore cause I thought everyone else was pretty much idiots. Now, we believe it. Yeah, Erath idiots like everyone else."

"UFOs and Nukes" Documentary Film:

Public-Funding Update

On November 15, 2014, I launched a public-funding campaign designed to assist the completion of my documentary film, UFOs and Nukes: The Secret Link Revealed. Although an anonymous benefactor contributed 100,000 toward the project in 2013, those funds were close to being exhausted.

At the time I first requested assistance from persons who think that my nuclear weapons-related UFO research deserves greater public attention, I indicated that 25,000 would be needed to finish the film. Over 150 U.S. military veterans have told me, during interviews going back to 1973, that UFOs have routinely monitored and even tampered with America's nuclear missiles. Several articles at my website discuss the incidents in detail, some of which are confirmed in declassified documents.

Further, documents smuggled out of Russia by television investigative reporter George Knapp reveal that such incidents also occurred at nuclear missile sites in the former Soviet Union during the Cold War era.

Clearly, an unknown, outside third party-operating technologically-advanced aerial craft-have interjected themselves into human affairs in our recent history. Indeed, reports from U.S. Air Force veterans suggest that a UFO incursion at ICBM sites operated by F.E. Warren AFB, Wyoming, occurred on October 23, 2010-resulting in a 26-hour disruption of the missile communications system at five launch-control capsules. My article about the incident provides the details.

(Once the still-secret comms-disruption was exposed by the Atlantic website, and picked-up by the mainstream media, Air Force spokespersons at the Pentagon quickly admitted that it had occurred, but claimed that it had only lasted 59 minutes, and further claimed that an improperly-replaced circuit card in a weapons systems processor had caused the problem. No UFO-involvement was acknowledged, of course, even though two now-retired missile maintenance technicians informed me, in December 2010, that a huge, cigar-shaped UFO had been independently sighted by several maintenance teams who were in the field during the disruption event.)

This incident and several others, extending back to the 1950s, are presented in my documentary. "Item: After the publishing house Macmillan announces acquisition of Immanuel Velikovsky's book Worlds in Collision, which makes unorthodox claims about the origins and history of the solar system, famed astronomer Harlow Shapley lobbies the publisher to prevent the book's publication. He fails. According to philosopher David Stove, Shapley then arranges for "denunciations of the book, still before its appearance, by an astronomer, a geologist, and an archaeologist," none of whom have read it. Other reviews by "professors who boasted of never having read the book" follow, and Velikovsky is "rigorously excluded from access to learned journals for his replies." The anti-Velikovsky forces then compel the firing of the long-time Macmillan senior editor who bought the book, even though it has become a bestseller. They also get the Hayden Planetarium's director fired "because he proposed to take Velikovsky seriously enough to mount a display about the theory." Under intense and continuing pressure, Macmillan eventually transfers the book to rival Doubleday, "which, as it has no textbook division, is not susceptible to professorial blackmail."

As the above shows, the tactics of these chronic skeptics are unethical, though sadly typical. Why the Pelicanists, etc. seem to prefer to behave like Bette Davis on her best flamboyant drama queen melodrama days is an intriguing sociological question to ponder.

I've given up on the pondering part long ago; I'll leave that to others who study the sociology of scientism. Still, I enjoy, and believe it's a worthy act, to point out the actions that range from amusing to outrageous, of the "skeptoids."

No matter how many times those of us who point out these behaviors and tactics state that it is the actions, not mere skepticism itself, that is the issue, it falls on deaf ears. Prescott writes:

"I'm not endorsing the validity of all the unconventional theories mentioned above. In particular, I think Velikosky and Reich are unlikely to have been correct. All that interests me, in citing these instances (and there are many others that could be added to the list), is this question: What are the powers of establishment science so afraid of? Why would people who are genuinely confident that they have reason on their side resort to character assassination, ostracism, threats, and even police action to enforce their opinions?

In other words, why do the self-styled defenders of reason, science, progress, and civilization so often act like bullies and thugs?

Excellent questions.

Irrational rationalists also resort to hyperbole and thin skinned, over the top silliness, as in comparing being called a "thug," or a "skeptoid" to being called a racial or ethnic slur, as I wrote this September (The Usual Purple Tinged Hyperbole About UFOs

Rabid skepticism abhors the UFO-abduction phenomena of course, and doesn't hold back when it comes to television. I found an interesting post at UFO Updates from 2001. Posted by John Velez, it discusses the PBS NOVA program on UFOs and abductions as written about by Terry Hansen in his excellent book, The Missing Times.

There are endless examples of course: The Amazing Randi and his on-going battles with Uri Geller, the sTarbaby scandal, Phillip Klass, etc.

Thuggish and dishonest tactics, as well as disingenuousness, have always been a part of scientism in general (they are scientism) as well as UFOlogy. No doubt much of it is intentional disinformation, the rest, picked up by the individual rabid skeptic, and, unaware he/she is being used, happily passes along such behaviors.

At first glance, from the ground, it kind of looks like a balloon. There is even something that appears to be a string, dangling. But upon closer inspection, this object acts like nothing I can label other than a UFO. I have seen this object before, I think. In March, 2011, I filmed something very similar in Phoenix that I hope to post soon. My theory is that this object is some sort of Orb container ship/craft. In the March video there is an orb that flies by it. There are "pod" shape contours that suggest the orbs are stored within it, perhaps. Jaime Mausson has video of similar objects that he calls Sky Serpents. He calls the orbs, "Centinels" that direct the serpents along the sky. This object looks pretty different than what he has shown, however."
