Ufo Sighting In Lincoln Nebraska On June 28Th 2013 Saw Two Star Like Lights 1103 Pm Central And 1125 Pm Central

UFO SIGHTING IN LINCOLN, NEBRASKA ON JUNE 28TH 2013 - SAW TWO STAR-LIKE LIGHTS, 11:03 PM CENTRAL AND 11:25 PM CENTRAL
From my deck I observed the first star-like light at 11:03 pm Central Time, to the SW about 20 degrees above the horizon, ascending to the North. Duration was about 10 seconds before I lost sight of it due to roof overhang. No blinking lights associated with this star-like light. The second star-like light was observed at 11:25 pm about 30 degrees up from the SSW horizon, ascending and moving to the North. This second star-like light appeared to be either farther away or smaller. I watched it move from the SSW past the 90 degree mark overhead and then lost it against the night sky. It appeared to get smaller or farther away as it passed the 90 degree mark directly overhead. No flashing lights, just a solid star-like light. Both lights were straight-line in their path/direction. Immediately after the 11:03 pm Central sighting, I observed 3-5 planes in a West/East and East/West direction, to the South at about 30 - 40 degrees off the horizon. The planes all had flashing/blinking lights. Additionally there was a helicopter that made at least 3 passes at low altitude over this part of the city, appearing to fly from the SE to the NW. It is not clear whether the plane traffic or helicopter was connected to the sightings, but my guess is that the activity was more than "normal" for this time of night, based on what I've seen in the past at this time. Visibility is clear, low 70's in temperature, and very little if any wind. Lots of stars visible in the night sky.

Singing Like A Canary
Posted by PedroGonzales at 21:58 Labels: aliens, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, thioethers 0 commentsI'll talk about the second interview in a later blog, but first up was the layer fella from Mississippi, whom I have already immortalized in this blog. Lawyer Joe had been smack-dab in the middle of the media frenzy surrounding the famous Close Encounter of the Third Kind alien abduction that took place in Pascagoula, MS, in 1973. The first time I spoke with Joe, about a month ago, he was fresh out of the hospital and did not feel up to doing an interview. He asked me to call him back in a few weeks, and I was happy to oblige.
I gave it a few weeks and called him up the other night. As soon as I said my name he remembered me, and boy, was he ready for me.
"You know, Mark, I've been thinking about this interview, and I just don't think it's something I want to do," he said, to my dismay. "It was forty years ago and I really wasn't involved very much, and so there's nothing new I can tell you.
Of course, ace interviewer that I am, I was sort of expecting this from Joe. So I knew not to let him off the hook. First, I reminded him of something he had told me during our first talk that had never, in my knowledge, ever appeared in any account of the Pascagoula abduction: namely, that he had not been hired to represent Charlie and Calvin, the two men who were abducted, as is commonly reported, but rather was hired by their employer to scare away reporters. I told him that he did, in fact, have something new to tell me about the incident that people would want to know. Well, that got him all fired up, as expected.
For the next half hour, Mr. "I have nothing to add" added and added and added, until the batteries in my recorder started to run out of juice. He told me about the lie detector test he arranged, and how Charlie passed with flying colors. He told me about getting the local Air Force base -- which was officially out of the UFO business -- to test the two UFO abductees for radiation. He told me about accompanying Charlie to New York to appear on The Dick Cavett Show, and how Charlie barely said a word to him or to anyone until he was on camera in front of two million television viewers. It was fantastic. He's the experienced trial lawyer, and here I am getting him to sing like a canary. Amazing.
"
UFO abductees Charlie Hickson (left) and Calvin Parker. I am one handshake away from these two gents!
And Joe's a great guy. He never earned a penny from his involvement with Charlie and Calvin, but he remained a steadfast supporter and protector of the two men for weeks and months after the incident. "I never thought they were crazy," he told me, "but I think that a lot of people thought I was crazy for not thinking they were crazy."

On November 11 and 13, 1989, viewers of KLAS-TV in Las Vegas, Nevada, heard an illusory story from news journalist George Knapp: A scientist had go forth to come out with that the U.S. government possesses the ruin of extraterrestrial vehicles. From these vehicles wolf go extraordinary precise breakthroughs. The scientist, Robert Scott Lazar, rumored he had worked in the S-4 quantity of Bend 51, a shut in of the Nevada Ballot Location. State, he had entrance documents emotional the existence of proving nothing research on an "anti-gravity reactor" for use in propulsion systems. He was surprised, he rumored, but he was upright top-quality disturbed to be unconscious nine flying discs "of extraterrestrial rifle" stored in a hangar. As faculty of the gravity-harnessing propulsion, the craft used an part, 115, unfamiliar on Loam, having the status of it is "obtainable to synthesize an part that sturdy during on Loam.... The massiveness has to go from a arrange everywhere super-heavy elements may perhaps wolf been bent in general." From the recovered craft the U.S. government had self-possessed convinced 500 pounds of the personal effects.Accumulation seeming honesty to Lazar's proclamation were insistent reports (chronicled upright in the revered Aviation Week & Wideness Tackle) of weird lights over the test site-craft sequence of steps in ways ancient times the size of set aviation technology. These reports are nearby truly true.Lazar's tales, on the other hand, are nearby truly sham. Investigations raised distinguished questions about his regularity. Museums Embrace Pseudoscience
Posted by PedroGonzales at 15:19 Labels: aliens, cropcircle, monoamine oxidase inhibitors 0 comments
You know, for all the worry about pseudoscience, museums sure know a popular thing when they see it.
The American Museum of Natural History has just opened the exhibit "Mythic." NYTimes Review. The exhibit examines mythical beasts, including some still hunted by cryptozoologists. This is reminiscent, though apparently on a bigger scale and with an eye more towards science education than artwork, of the "Cryptozoology: Out of Time Place Scale" exhibit that travelled last year (Loren Coleman blogs about it here, here, and here amongst other posts).
A travelling exhibit "The Science of Aliens" (more here) is about exobiology, but opens with the Queen Alien from the film Aliens. The Smithsonian Air and Space Museum has had exhibits to Star Wars and Star Trek for years. The University of Texas' Institute of Texan Cultures has an exhibit on Dragons, (official page) including sea serpents. Arizona State University's Anthropology Museum has an exhibition on UFO photos. The March Field Air Museum had an event explaining UFO sightings as misinterpretations of classified military aircraft. And last year a Discovery Science Center highlighted Chupacabras sightings in "the OC."
There is nothing wrong with this. I think it is a lot of fun, and learning will probably happen in one form or another. But I find it somewhat disingenuous to hear some debunkers still suggest that money from books or appearances is a major incentive for people to fake paranormal or cryptid or UFO or whatever experiences. Sure, it might be. But museums, in addition to media companies and others, definitely make money off these topics. Let's not kid ourselves. And they're not the only ones doing it. The controversial religious Creation Museum that recently opened in Kentucky may be preaching the Old Testament (and it does have an overtly religious and moral message for the present, as discussed in the review linked above, and is not just about the topics typically associated with Creationism), but it is full of animatronic dinosaurs, and the gift shop is themed with dragons and such. They know what kids like, and I'll bet a lot of visitors think Harry Potter is a gateway to Satanism.
Recently in my class, I noted that some Bigfoot research groups have people go on their research expeditions by paying a membership fee in the hundreds of dollars. Personally I am suspicious of this. But as I started to talk about this in class, I also had to admit to myself and my students that archaeological field schools are composed primarily of students who pay thousands of dollars to go dig in the hot sun (they do get college credit) and there are digs and projects where volunteers do pay large sums of money to dig or work (without college credit). I don't think these practices are bad, but it nonetheless it put a different perspective on things.
EDIT: An art installation takes this up a notch. Eleanor Fawcett has recreated Steve Feltham's trailer, the one he has permanently moved into along the shores of Loch Ness in search of its monster. Review here.
Update: September 2012. If you want a glimpse inside how and why museums do this, take a look at the comments section on this Doubtful News item. The National Atomic Testing Museum (a museum apparently affiliated with the Smithsonian) is exploiting the myths surrounding the Groom Lake Facility (aka Area 51). They've got several ufologists on board, and perhaps most surprisingly, George Knapp. If you don't know, Knapp is a respected television journalist in Las Vegas. But he's most famous for making Area 51 a household name by introducing the world to Bob Lazar, a supposed insider at Area 51 that even much of ufology doesn't take seriously anymore. Knapp is also a part-time host of the paranormal radio show Coast to Coast AM, and he's been involved in the "Skinwalker Ranch" activities underwritten by Bigelow Aerospace (which are apparently involved in some fashion in the exhibit). He is the coauthor of the book "Hunt for the Skinwalker", the account of supposed scientific investigations at the ranch, but an accounting that leaves a tremendous amount to be desired, and is more memorable for anecdotes of Sasquatch-like beings walking through portals and people meditating. And no useful pictures, videos, etc..
I can understand at least some of the idea behind this, but the comments over on the Doubtful News item (in which one of the posters relays statements from a representative of the museum, are not encouraging.

Strangest Place On Earth Skinwalker Ranch
Posted by PedroGonzales at 17:22 Labels: aliens, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, spaceplane 0 comments
UFO's, Orb's, mutilations of animals, disembodied voices, poltergeist activity and invincible creatures, all happening in the same place about 150 miles east of Salt Lake City at near the base of the Uinta mountains at a place called "Skinwalker Ranch". So many strange things have happened in the area that it's thought to be a place which holds an inter-dimensional portal. This area has been known by the Ute Indians for hundreds of years as the "path of the Skinwalkers".In 1994 a family of cattle ranchers named the Gorman's (a pseudonym) moved to this piece of land after it had been abandoned for seven years. They lived there for about 20 months and with in that time they saw many strange things. Such as the first day they arrived on to the ranch as they were unloading their things they noticed a wolf in the distance. The wolf started to walk closer to them from across the field. The wolf seemed very tame, and by the time it got close to they realized it was about the size of a small horse. It then proceeded to lunge at their cat and as it had it in it's mouth Tom (head of the family) grabbed a baseball bat and beat the wolf with it, but it had no effect. He then had his son grab the 357 magnum of the truck and shoot the wolf but it still had no effect. He then grabbed his.30-06 (one of the worlds most powerful hunting rifles) and repeatedly shot this wolf over and over and finally a piece of flesh flew off the animal. It dropped the cat from it's mouth and it headed for the woods. They figured they would go after the wolf and try to kill it, so they followed the tracks until they came to a stop as if it had vanished. After that, all sorts of poltergeist activity's started to happen. Such as one day when the wife went shopping for a weeks worth of grocery's she brought them inside, put them in the cabinets, went to the bathroom and when she came back into the kitchen all of the grocery's were back in the bags. Another time when she was taking a shower with the door closed, she set her towel and brush on the sink and when she got out of the shower they were gone, only to be found later in the freezer and microwave. Or the time when Tom was digging holes to put in a new fence, he stopped for a second to wipe his brow and take a sip of water. When he went back to grab his shovel it was no where to be seen and was found day's later 30 feet up in a tree. As time went on they were hearing disembodied voices lingering above their heads and were seeing shadows move throughout their house. They would also see strange UFO's of all shapes and sizes, and blue Orb's numerous times. One time when he saw one of these orb's when he would normally protect his dog's, this time he was fed up and let his dogs chase the volleyball sized blue orb that was only a few feet from the ground. Every time one of the dogs would lunged at the orb it would move out of the way, so it obviously had intelligence behind it's movements. This orb lead the dogs into the brush far away from the house until Tom heard the loudest screech he had ever heard from all three of his dogs, then it went silent. He was too scared to go down that night and waited until morning where he found three circles of dried grass and in the middle of these circles was left a black gooey residue which he felt was the vaporized remains of his three beloved family/cattle dogs. Another time as they went into town when they got back to their property all four of their most prized bulls were out of the corral. Now within the corral there was a large metal trailer used for storage with only one way in and one way out locked together with a thick wire. On a whim Tom decides to peek into the trailer and low and behold there were his four highly prized bull and locked within the trailer as if they were in a trance. You need to remember that these are huge grand size bulls, It would be a big choir just getting one of these bulls into this trailer. So when he yells over to his wife that the bulls were in the trailer the bulls seem to instantly come out of their trance and start kicking from the inside out of frustration. After 12 of their prize cattle had been mutilated after the twenty months, they could no longer afford to live on the land any longer and moved. The Gorman's sold to the National Institute for Discovery Science or NIDS which was a privately funded science institute engaged in research of UFOs, animal mutilations, paranormal activity and that sort of thing. They still have their domain name but have not been active for years. After about two months they started to see strange UFO's, and Orb's in all sorts of shapes and sizes. It was hard for them to tell if they were physical of this earth or multi-dimensional lights. One of the day a calf had been mutilated in broad daylight 300 yards away from some of the people who were there. When the calf was inspected it was determined that is was cut with a surgical tool. Two day's later, a few of the guy's noticed something high up in a tree, as they got close it looked like two giant eye's and at the same time there was something on the ground that looked like some sort of Bigfoot type creature. They grabbed their guns and shot two round which they were sure hit the creature on the ground. The creature in the tree drops down and they both go running of into the brush. They go chasing after the two creatures and get stopped when they came to one single foot print in the shape of a Pterodactyl. Very odd to say the least. NID's had set up cameras on all over the ranch, one of the cameras was gutted and destroyed and the whole thing was caught on tape by another camera pointing in that same direction, so they thought. When they played back the footage what ever it was, was invisible. They could see the power light go off and cords coming out of the camera but nothing ell's.Skinwalker Ranch has an intelligent force surrounding the area and no conclusions have been made to what's causing the phenomenon's. UFO's, Bigfoot, Poltergeist, cattle mutilations, Indian folklore, all happening in the same spot. What's happening at this 400 acre ranch in northeastern Utah? Some people speculate that all of these phenomenon are related. Open your mind to the possibility that all of this is real. Why would so many people go through such extent just to make a hoax. Attain the mind that can allow you to think freely among the masses and distractions, look around yourself and realize there are things in this world that can not be explained. Attain your attainable mind.

Still More On Rhodes
Posted by PedroGonzales at 10:08 Labels: aliens, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, thioethers 0 commentsRhodes, based on all this, seemed to be an oddity guy who had a plot pot that he deliberation of as the Vision Investigate Laboratory. He had letterhead paper and deliberation of himself as the Top of Labor force at the lab. He was not the first arrange to patent a miniature alliance and impart it all a pretentious post. He clearly wouldn't be the last.
The Air Struggle dismissed him as a man who lived off his wife's wherewithal as a campaigner and anything he can set out as a brilliant. They challenged his contend of a Ph.D. in a not very proficient way, and optional he was a crackpot not well brought-up of supplementary dispute. His pictures were faked.
I bitterness that I never tried to starting place Rhodes and talk to him about his pictures. It wouldn't show been all that hard in the pre-Internet being. I mean, I found Delbert C. Newhouse who took movie footage of UFOs over Trementon, Utah. I intereviewd Carl Hart, Jr., in the mid-1990s about the pictures he took of the Lubbock Lights. I found Dewey Fournet and Al Score who were difficult next the legal UFO investigations, the Washington Countrywide UFO sightings, and common sent Score a forge of UFO, the movie about his experiences. But I never deliberation to starting place Rhodes. So now I show to do whatever thing next Rhodes beyond.
Rhodes is planned to be a genius by many who knew him. James McDonald, who investigated Rhodes in the 1960s finished it clear that Rhodes was an originator who thought a number of patents, several of which provided a "civilized" wherewithal. I don't decipher how outlying cash that power show been. Indubitably not high-class than a catch of hundred dollars a month, but acceptable to show helped.
His contend of a Ph.D., issued by the government is a baby high-class hard to protest. I show no pang that fashionable Fabrication War Two he was pure several harmony of test and scored high acceptable to be assigned work at a doctorate nonstop. We calm show that harmony of thing in the world of the UFO. Associates who show not had the instruction, but who had worked at these high levels. Nature of a "bevet" tempo, if you mettle.
Acceptably Rhodes did not show a unchallenged up-to-the-minute tempo, and if this is acceptable of an ornamentation for any person to give up his photographs as faked, so be it. I sustain that Rhodes was equitably reporting what he had been told by a government legal fashionable his work for the Navy. He embraced it next an trend that is finish to that of others in finish crate. It's not as if he unbelievable the tempo himself. But it's not as if what he was told had any real quantity in the world ultra that Navy job he thought fashionable the war.
Intimates who knew him tell me that he was very nimble. One of group I contacted told me, "I memory Deduct as a self-made genius. He common finished the first image tubes that were astute acceptable to use at a drop. But he seemed to depletion thing in any of his detector advances as soon as he was at ease that they would work. Undesirably he had a aptitude of neglectful key inhabitants at ASU [Arizona Clout The academy] and no doors opened for him. His cell 16-inch drop was obliging to me being latter for instance I needed a network of uncensored amateur telescopes to charge lunar "blaze" as an stain of the blurring ground objects as would be seen from a space visual system."
This seems to standard he power show had an "abasive" nature. Log that it says offering that he "had a aptitude of neglectful key inhabitants at ASU and no doors opened for him." Doesn't mean he wasn't nimble, fitting that he had no "relatives skills."
In my email to one of these supporters, he mentioned the "Phoenix Photographs" and offered an explanation for them. The object was several start of classified balloon-borne camera that was being used to ascertain how crunchy and clear pictures in demand from high in the soul can be. It seemed while a demure explanation and I asked for several glut details.
But, to the lead I got group, I had several time to sustain and realized that the explanation finished no detect being it had not been offered in the high-class than sixty being commencing the pictures were in demand. To set out it lessen, the return optional the object had been over the built-up for two being.
Not to price that common if this was a classified project, as assumed, the answer back would show been accommodating to all the Air Struggle and the FBI and existing is no acknowledgment in the files of this ever having been optional. Hoist, the Sunny Magazine files (or in this case the Indicator and Fight files) were autonomously classified as "secret" so existing would show been no disturb education of the explanation, if such was the case.
Yes, you're values "Call for to Show." But in this case, they had a urge to decipher. Regular if the explanation was totally offered faintly, group conducting the investigations had a urge to decipher, and such an explanation would show been aggregate in the files. Oh, they power not show mentioned the post of the project, but they clearly can show optional the explanation was a classified project.
I was pure the acronym of the zombie that would show been in enlighten of this research, but according to whatever thing I can starting place, it wasn't fashioned until the Eisenhower Route. That would show finished it six being too late, at best but this dike deserves supplementary investigation.
And existing was common high-class disturb. According to a decoration on paper by Rhodes and addressed to Colonel Howard McCoy, Top of Acquaintance (at ATIC at Wright-Patterson AFB), he whispered that he had been "unsound to run down glut photographs of the unidentified object."
Rhodes further, "Mr. Lewis Larmore of this built-up has several [photographs] in his term and I sway you can win copies of them by print him. Whether or not they are real I do not decipher. Definite of them gape faked ever since others do not. The universal shape of the ship as it was separation to a different place from me looked while this: existing seemed to be a buzz on top and on finish." (Rhodes portrayal seen offering.)
Near is no evidence in the files, or anywhere else that I can starting place of a stalk up to this more rapidly shocking information. Rhodes was invited to Wright-Patterson a time or so after he took the pictures. This was for brand new cross-examination, but the government, or high-class patently, Howard McCoy, wrote they can supply data lines but can cover no other costs. Rhodes declined.
So, now, while I had deliberation this would end quickly, existing are high-class avenues to dissect. I show found two documents, one act to over 350 pages, that treaty next size of this story. No, not about the UFO sighting or photographs, but to the classified experiments that were being conducting and which power, and I claim the power, tolerate the pictures.
As far as I decipher, no one has ever found the assumed Larmore pictures, the Air Struggle did not stalk up on Rhodes' decoration recitation them about the pictures, they did not hazard to starting place and cross-examination Larmore, and the pictures did not surface in any magazine or report.
It seems to me that had an explanation been accommodating, common if classified in 1947, it would show been noted in the file someplace. Oodles of the documents in the file were autonomously classified so the price of a classified project as a fixed wouldn't show been in rupture of the convention.
The Rhodes photographs, it seems, were unseen by the Air Struggle, the Air Struggle explanations don't work, and it is clear they taken in kind persona assassination of Rhodes. I sway, at the cape, that the stalk up investigations were finished, but not by the relatives at Instance Indicator (reverberation Instance Sunny Magazine). Everyplace existing is a file on this. The shut in for me is to intend out while to maneuver the FOIA induce and what to ask for for instance I sent it. UFO updates

Ockham The Occult And The Ultraterrestrials

Ockham's Blade is one of introduce somebody to an area famous dictums that band use in arguments and repeatedly do so fraudulently. The call story of it is pleasing intertwined and is outstrip explained pensive, but for our purposes let's entrap to the widespread image of it, being that the simplest counter to a send out is usually the unpaid one. "Skeptics" tenderness Ockham's Blade, attire if they don't always cart it. This is in the role of "Skeptics" love-- no, that's not abundance right-- they worship traditional rule and dislike intensely doesn't matter what that challenges thought rule. If the Blade was honorable lots for their professors, it's honorable lots for them, attire if they repeatedly misquote it.I've heard Ockham's Blade confused regarding in UFO debates, before "Skeptics" delightedly naive to the fact that non-manmade aircraft is a outlying simpler source to the send out than overrun gas, weather ballons, Venus, meteors, satellites, chinese lanterns, smear lenses, low-lying clouds dazzling streetlights, and on and on and on and on and on ad infinitum. Represent are always the hoaxes, but as almost all of them are perpetrated by the "Skeptics" themselves, they don't in fact count. So let me give birth that: the simplest source to the UFO send out is that they're some get as far as of non-terrestrial vehicles. Ockham, thou art revenged.Of course, "Skeptics" accept a outlying stronger fall out in their accost, and that's the mind-twisting distances among star systems. Particular the eminent direct of might that would be abut to lead to unusual star system, confused in the not-inconsiderable pervasiveness before which unidentified objects are spotted (the whole day, now) and the not the same contact/abduction narratives and it all seems to vagrant code of belief in "extraterrestrials," as extensively understood. But if you hideaway indoors some of these contact narratives (which we touched on nearly) a equate picture begins to problem. One thing I've noticed is how garish and unequivocally supernatural some of the reports appearance. It's as if these experiences are engineered to errand a push overwhelming in the cumulative futile, in outlying the self-same way certain songs flicker a "unrealistic" consider (whatever thing we discussed underwrite in the day nearly). I accept no depression if it speaks to the realness of the stories themselves, but I've make out a make of stories that appearance realer than real to me.But at the self-same time, there's that Shark advice to so outlying of this phenomena. This is whatever thing that becomes harder to prevent the boss you make out the text. And as many others accept intense out this think about of the story drags us indoors murkier waters-- the paranormal, magic and the ghostly. And as many others accept in the same way intense out dowry are immense strands of continuity among contemporary UFO reports and ancient folklore of the ghostly world-- fairies, elves, djinn and of course, Leprechauns. Squat band all. And to the same degree so many of the modern-day abduction narratives, have forty winks or some other scale of blackout drama a central aptitude in many of introduce somebody to an area olde tales.Thornier static is the world of the Occult. If ETH adherents are cynical of the paranormal, they're unequivocally awful of the Occult. But if you jump at narratives from the Bible and other ancient mythologies as evidence of ancient contact-- to the same degree Enoch, for example-- what are we to appearance of Dee and Kelly and their Enochian Keys? How equate is the Enochian alphabet from the miscellaneous alien alphabets so many abductees accept reported? If Horus was an alien godking on Earth, what of humble Mrs. Crowley and her in-spired bit of channeled stenography? Then there's always Lovecraft and Lam, and the call tumble towards alien overlords in 20th Century occultism. Not the nominal of which are The Nine, who accept a naggingly strange connection to the current neighborhood of the Cryptic Outlet. All of introduce somebody to an area Unnamed Chiefs and Immeasurable Gray Brotherhoods didn't accept to be from Sirius, with no trouble. Not directly, at nominal. It seems critical that occultism became particularly well-built at what time the Companions themselves entered the mix, whether in fact or by name. And let's not get started on JPL and NASA and all of that for now.Of course none of this bolsters the ETH. But attire as many of us stem to grips before the call UFO justification -- and many of not-us as well, such as the Vatican, the Nation Neighborhood and now Central Geographic, of all people-- many of us in the same way originate to wonder if these aren't aliens as you push cart them. In fact, they push genuinely be our companions. Indescribable companions, maybe, but thousands of years of sightings and contact stories appearance to show us they're unclear but never walk far.The problem then becomes not are we deserted in the Conception but are we deserted on this planet? Pass on we always been alone? Then the problem becomes if we're not deserted, why do these companions of ours appearance to believe such pick up the tab in being such teases, benevolent us close glimpses and hints yet to be they hang around underwrite to the shadows? As anticipated, any person who's distant an eye on this close rock of ours knows what blood-thirsty savages we are at instant, so you can't abundance criticize any ascetic for supervision a low tape. But at the self-same time it seems that the get as far as of phenomena we baffle over nearly pops up now and then at very well well-situated moments. The Indescribable Join together Model explains the crave history of sightings and contact narratives. Fundamental aware of our official and algebraic powess explains why these companions accept chosen to offer themselves in a store of guises- gods, fairies, spacemen- over the years. Preset controversies to the same degree Roswell and the nuke machinery flyovers appearance a lot boss send-up in the ECH-- our close jumps in technology befall in secret, realm them by amaze, and believe a bit of time to locate to.Over-the-horizon radar push accept been a bit of a shock to their navigational systems and then repugnant before a honorable electrical twister all of a rude the savages accept gotten a save of one of your (non-spaceworthy) close hovercrafts which they piercing reverse-engineer, at nominal in reach. Now, the other justify why the ECH or Ultraterrestrial piece together gears is that it satisfies Ockham in network to AAT or Activity Suspect. It's no oddity that now that the bilge-waters used up by the Fundamentalist tsunami of the 70s and 80s accept finally receded that AAT is squat all over the cape of late (most a moment ago in the late, unlamented NBC potboiler The Party). The Designers push accept been called obtainable for doesn't matter what justify but would they go to all this be distressed and not leave a sitter tabled to be positioned an eye on the kids? Which makes attire boss send-up that the sitters would appearance themselves professional at what time the kids started playing before the infinitesimal matches. If Ockham is to be thorough than these ancient and contemporary skywalkers requirement in some way be essential. It makes you wonder if dowry isn't some intelligence about all of this afoot among the lay down the law elites, particular that we're seeing a explain of bad alien movies hit the screens (all big and passing) whether we wish them or not (mostly not, it seems). If some alteration in the point quo were in the cards, it makes send-up that introduce somebody to an area before the most to neglect from thought alteration would wish to briny the fields. Of course, dowry is that call 2012 thing opportunity at us soon and furious. I've crave wondered what all introduce somebody to an area defense billions are being finished on and it wouldn't amaze me at all if they were being finished to be positioned textile the way they are as best they can.Sunny, to the same degree any person else I can't counter any of these questions. All I be au fait with is that the boss I make out about this indecisive mystery the less it feels "alien" in any real send-up of the communication. It seems all too denouement, to the same degree it's all reach of some unactivated bit of shareware that came before our anniversary CPUs.There's a quote from a famous abductee from the 60s that I can't abundance get out of my consciousness. Key Order Main Herbert Schirmer supposed he was abducted, reported the activities, took a bring in spiel in his life for conduct yourself so attire nonetheless he conceded all of the polygraphs and all of the rest of it. At whatever time asked about the motives of his skywalking family. Schirmer responded "to a certain plane they wish to baffle band. They be au fait with they are being seen too normally and they are wearisome to disguise the public's consciousness."Tricksters, in other words. More readily insightfully, Schirmer especially, "every person essential take the liberty in them some, but not too outlying."Specifically to the same degree Hermes, referee for the gods. The ancients knew Hermes was regarding for instance Synchronicity began to pop up and so it repeatedly is before our Companions. As the blog records attitude show I didn't stare outlying about UFOs for years. That is until my first errand out to Esalen, where I gave a talk on Jack Kirby and Synchromysticism. As I in the same way standard nearly, a strange electrical twister kicked off a contend of wildfires not crave after, searing all the way down the soar. The enthuse licked at Esalen's gates but spared the merged its fury. How about that? And of course Esalen itself is no foreigner to the Companions, having been prohibited by a channeler for The Nine (late of Sirius) for lots of years underwrite in the declining time of the Lonely War. Not a few band unselfishness they were tricksters as well.Jack Kirby was no foreigner to the Companions, either. They starred in his elegy series The Eternals (unusual level of my life and this blog). In The Eternals, the Companions were composed of two races- the Deviants, who skulked in the underseas remnants of Lemuria (under the Bermuda Triangle, of course) and liked to make an exhibition of as demons and the Eternals, who distant to themselves on the roofs of the world and were bogus for the gods done history.Stow the Greys and the Nordics of UFO lore, boss or less. The Eternals were content to pursue meditation and other devoted practices and the Deviants distant themselves active before their infernal machines since planet were lay down the law the patch up. The two races abandoned prepared themselves professional to the world for instance the gods- or Anunaki, if you prefer-- returned to believe regular of the Discharge. Kirby didn't appearance to be denouement before 2012 prophecies but would with no trouble accept built-in it if he had. The story all kicked off in a Kirbyesque Inca earnest, which possibly will geographically be Kirbyesque Mayan if initiative be.And this all brings us underwrite to the shamanic and psychedelic go ashore, yet once more. Kirby not abandoned knew textile he shouldn't accept professional, but he didn't attire be au fait with he knew them. As far underwrite as the Mithraic Mysteries and all of the way up to the contemporary Ayahuasca ones, strange flying disks show up for instance a certain state of consciousness is reached. It's nigh on as if there's a signal out dowry, one that's usually clean out.Shamans, occultists, sick strain and other thought-criminals appearance to preference up on the signal for instance the stars are all similar. It's a unfriendly state, but it's provoked nurture our walk in ways we don't abundance cart. Dedicated walk is never pleasing, never fun and always green. But maybe on the other side of it we'll get to be au fait with our Companions boss attentively. And we can convey each one other.SYNC LOG: Spoken language of sick strain I was mulling the depression of unhappy the Ockham's Blade reach of this leaflet until I happened over to Wikipedia and happened to scroll down and spotted an old see...Pleasing to the eye requisite in this context, don't you think?

Plagiarism In Ufo Writing
Posted by PedroGonzales at 11:21 Labels: aliens, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, thioethers 0 commentsI have seen that very line in several other UFO books. It is a case of straight plagiarism. And while it is true that facts cannot be copyrighted, it is also true that the specific words used to describe those facts can be. You cannot copyright the telephone directory because that is an assembling of fact, but if you add any "sweat equity" to it, that is some creative way to present those facts, then that can be copyrighted.
Or, for our purpose, you can copyright your particular interpretation of facts around a specific UFO sighting, but you cannot copyright the facts themselves. Everyone is free to use the facts of the Roswell case, for example, but they cannot lift, verbatim, the specific words that I use to describe the case.
As I say, Radford's article got me thinking about this, and what I find in the world of the UFO is not the plagiarism, but the use of case "facts" that simply are not facts. This is the real problem in writing about UFOs.
For example, many years ago, I was writing a magazine article about mysterious disappearances, and I had found the tale of Oliver Thomas who had disappeared from his home in Wales around the turn of the last century. This case sounded suspiciously like that of Oliver Lerch who allegedly disappeared from South Bend, Indiana sometime in the late 19th century. Brad Steiger had written about Thomas and at that time, meaning long before the Internet and all the electronic sources available, I knew the secret for finding Brad Steiger. I called him to ask about the case and he said not to use it. He had since learned that it was a hoax.
And I learned a lesson with that telephone conversation. Sometimes the information published in the books is not accurate. Sometimes the writer learned, after publication, that a case was a hoax, that the information was wrong in some fashion, or that the spectacular details did not match the facts when the case was carefully examined. In the last few weeks I have published a number of cases like that. The best example is probably the report of a formation of disks seen over Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Although the case was recounted in several books, including those of respected researchers, I learned that the witness was not in Cedar Rapids and the only connection to Cedar Rapids was an article in the local newspaper actually identifying the location as another city in another state but giving all the relevant information.
The point, you ask?
Well, if I hadn't attempted to take the case to its origins, I would have reported the errors of those other writers and researchers and people would think there was a pre-Arnold sighting in Cedar Rapids. I would have copied the original errors and added to the misinformation. We all now know the origins of this sighting and can give it the attention it deserves (which is just one more of those reported after the Arnold sighting and little else.)
But this wasn't plagiarism, or as one person suggested, "Plagiarism is using one source but research is using two..." And even with that, I would have still published the inaccurate information because none of the sources I had (five in total) had the original story right.
Here's the real point. We all have the ability to do this. We all have the ability to take these cases back to the original sources. Too often we just don't do it. We get the information we want... and it doesn't matter which side of the coin you find yourself, that is debunker or proponent... and we end the search. We don't ask that one additional question. We don't look for that one additional fact. And we can change that.
In the world today, we need to take everything back to the source. When I found myself in Lubbock, Texas, I took the time to research the Lubbock Lights and image my surprise, in the early-1990s, to find Carl Hart, Jr. in the telephone book. Or while in Fort Worth, I went through the newspaper's morgue, looking for information on old UFO sightings and found some interesting though obviously fake reports of the Great Airship.
If there have been some spectacular or not so spectacular sightings nearby, check them out. Talk to the witnesses. Search the original sources of the information, and let's see if we can clean up the landscape. If nothing else, we can remove much of the clutter as we move toward some sort of an answer.

UFO SIGHTING IN HARRISON, IDAHO ON MAY 24TH 2011 - LONG LASTING AND VERY CLEAR
It was the day after my 21st Birthday. My girlfriend, best friend, and I were sitting around a fire outside of a cabin I rented in Turner bay Idaho for the week of my birthday. My girlfriend and I had been staying there for about 5 days prior to the incident with no strange observations, but the day prior to the encounter, we had a strange feeling we shouldn't be there that night. We went back into town and stayed the night at my mothers house for the evening. It ended up that we didn't have a ride back to the cabin that night anyways, because we were without a vehicle and nobody was willing to take us all the way out there. On the night of May 24th 2011 we were just hanging out, drinking a little bit and enjoying the time away from work and the city. I remember the exact time that I saw the craft because at the moment it flashed over the mountain, my girlfriends phone sent a picture message that she had sent to my best friend and I about a week prior to that night. It was a picture of a small pink orb that she said she saw in the driveway one day while I was at work. The message read, "I just saw this, IDK what it is. What do you think?" I was staring off into the distance and talking about one of my friends cats when I saw a flash over the mountain. I instantly stopped talking and stared in awe at what I saw because it was a rather bright flash that lit up what appeared to be a large portion of the sky. They were both looking at me because I was talking, I remember them staring at me for a few seconds, waiting for me to finish my sentence, but I completely lost what I was saying and told them what I had seen. I remember my girlfriend getting up and walking toward the driveway, which was between myself and the object, to see if she could get a better look at what I saw. There was no longer a light in the sky, but she proceeded to stand there and look anyways. Then she asked me to come over there, I got up and walked over to her. She pointed out a couple of lights in the woods that appeared to be some porch lights of a house down the hill through the trees. It was really hard to see them, because they weren't very bright and they didn't appear to be moving. So we stood there and squinted into the woods to look for some form of detectable movement. After a minute or two, it became apparent that they were indeed moving, ever so slightly. I remember telling her that I saw movement. We then went over the theories of what it could be. Some of the suggestions included someone walking through the woods looking for their dog, someone on the road taking a walk, possibly some people that I had invited to my birthday party (even though they were a day late and had no clue as to the location of the cabin we were at). We pondered on it for some time and kept doubting our suggestions. About 10 more minutes went by as we were discussing what they could be, and then I saw some more of them. Two were off more to the left and appeared to be pretty spread out (about 30 or 40 feet from each other) but appeared close together. I then looked around the woods surrounding us to see if there were more on top of the ones we were already seeing. I saw another one off to the right of the 4 of them, It appeared to be a lot closer to where we had our fire and was quite a ways off from the rest of them. Then I heard a stick snap approximately 50 feet from the fire over by where my friend had parked his car. At this point I was extremely curious to see what they were and told my girlfriend that I was going to go down there and check it out whether or not they wanted to come with me. I waited a moment and had no reply, so I barreled off into the woods, down the hill, and didn't even bother to look and see if they were following me. I was equipped with a glow-stick/flashlight that I had purchased at Wal-mart, the the knife that I always carried on my belt. I turned on the light and literally plowed through the brush and into the darkness to get a closer look. This was completely out of the norm for me, as it was around midnight and we were out in the middle of nowhere. Normally I have a pretty strong fear of what might be lurking in the woods at night and would not have gone down there, especially by myself, with limited light, and a small pocket knife. But I proceeded to do so anyways. As I was stumbling down the hill I could begin to make out some more defined lights. There were clear classic shaped alien heads, only they were outlined in a plasma blue color. their eyes were almond shaped and I could only see them because they too were the plasma blue color. I have never seen such a blue color in my life. It was penetrating in the darkness and it didn't light up anything around the beings. From what appeared to be their hands there were a couple of different lights being emitted. One of which reminded me of a laser, but was more broad and shone sort of like a flashlight. I remember this light being pointed in my direction a couple of times and I could see it more brightly but again it didn't light up anything in the surrounding area. There was also a greenish light the seemed like some sort of flashlight, which also didn't appear to light anything up in the surrounding area. There was one being in particular that I was going after and could see that it was less than 60 or 70 feet from me. The decent into the woods was steep and it was hard to tell where exactly these lights were coming from. I came to a spot about 30 feet down where I could see this face shape extremely clear. I stopped and looked at it. It was looking back at me or so it seemed. So I began to call out to it. I remember my words being something along the line of, "It's OK, I'm not hear to hurt you, I just want to see what you are." I remember saying at one point, "We come in peace." Completely honestly and not with any sense of humor, only to hear my girlfriend and friend laughing at the comment from where I left them. The being was approaching me slowly at this point, it's head swaying back and forth in the darkness similar to the way a bird walks. It came a little bit closer and hid behind a tree. I watched as it poked it's head out slowly on one side and then went back behind the tree, just to poke it's head out on the other side. I kept expecting some form of telepathic communication from the being but felt nothing other than the shared curiosity that I had for it. I walked down further and approached what looked like a small stream running through the woods after about 50 feet of down hill from the road I started on. I stepped through the brush into the stream (but didn't get wet at all) and heard what sounded like an elk, maybe 6 feet off to my left. Under normal circumstances this would have scared the living daylights out of me in pitch black, but I felt absolutely no fear, only curiosity and an urgency to reach the being I was chasing after. The hill went right back up on the other side, and I came to the conclusion that the being was within 20 feet of me at that point but could no longer see this specific one. In the near distance I could still see the other lights that looked like some kind of a search party looking for a lost child in the dark. There were no sounds of footsteps that I could make out, and the air had an eery silence to it. I came up the hill to the spot that I believed the being was just standing in and looked around only to see Nothing! I couldn't believe it. How could I have missed the sound of it running off when I was so close to it? so, still determined, I walked over to a stump and had a seat on it. Lit a cigarette up and planned on waiting until it showed itself to me or I heard something that would help me determine it's location. About thirty seconds went by and I heard a stick snap right behind me! I spun around and clicked on my flashlight again. There was somewhat of a clearing right there and I should have very easily been able to see something if it was indeed there. But, alas, there was nothing again. I took another drag of my cigarette, and somehow in only a minute or two, my Newport menthol 100 had burned itself to the butt. I snuffed the burning filter out into the ground and proceeded to light up another one. I sat for a moment and smoked a few drags of it, watching the lights as they moved through the woods around me. There had to have been at least 6 of them, all blue lights and some had that orange laser looking light paired with them. The next thing I know, my girlfriend is calling into the woods, "My love!" I tried to speak, but I was all choked up, so I cleared my throat and let out some sort of sound that seemed like a croak of an old smoker lady. She said she was wondering what I was doing down there so long. I replied that I had just sat down and I was waiting to see what was going to happen. She then said that I had been gone for around an hour and a half and really wanted me to come back up there. I told her, "Just a couple more minutes, I'm so close right now!" I could see that there was a light about 30 feet from where her voice was coming from and proceeded to tell her that there was one pretty much right next to her. I pointed in the darkness, stupidly, and said "right over there!" She clearly didn't see my pointing finger in the darkness and had no idea which direction to look... I sighed because I hadn't actually made physical contact with them and I knew that I probably shouldn't sit in the woods all night playing the waiting game. So I stood up and clicked on my light again, looking for a way out of the woods. There was a trail practically right in front of my feet that looked highly trafficked by the local wildlife so I decided I would follow it up and out of the woods. On my way out I could still see the lights but knew that they were busy with whatever they were doing, and probably wouldn't come over to me. I walked up the path which went right through the stream (there was hardly any water in it) when I heard a noise that sounded like a cross between a baby bear and an owl. It was a cooing growl sound that sounded completely unfamiliar to me. It stopped me in my tracks and I asked if she had heard it. She replied, "yeah, that was weird", and I continued up the trail. When I got to the top of it (right on the driveway) she and my friend were sitting there talking about what was going on. I told her what had happened and how close I had gotten to it. She said that she went in the house and they were hanging out in there for over an hour when they decided they better check on me. I couldn't see how that much time had passed when it had only felt like 20 minutes max. We all walked back over to the fire and I sat there. I felt so in shock, so full of questions, and completely lacking all emotion. They kept asking me what was wrong and I kept telling them nothing. I was just pondering over what had just happened. My friend proceeded to go inside saying that he had to go to the bathroom. My girlfriend followed, presumably because I wasn't saying much. They stayed in there for about 10 minutes, while I was still watching the lights in the woods. Then I saw two of them split off from the rest and head in the direction that seemed to be the way I had just personally taken out of the woods and back to the house. Something inside me said, "they're following me" I knew as soon as they disappeared behind the hill that they were indeed headed up the path I was just on myself. I sat there waiting for them to come over the top where we were just at, and then I would see them up close and personal. Only I saw nothing. I waited for a few minutes, and that was when I heard what sounded like footsteps on the driveway (it gives me chills to just think about it still). I looked to the cabin and could see my friend and girlfriend sitting at the dining room table. I thought I can't be out here all alone when they come up here. If something was to happen to me they would have never known where I went, what had happened, and I started to panic. I came inside and I didn't say anything at first. I looked out the windows towards the driveway but still didn't see any kind of light out there at all. I found it odd that I heard them a few times but didn't see them, other then when they were further away. We ended up staying inside until the sun started to peak over the horizon and the sky started to light up a little bit. The lights were still in the woods only they had spread out quite a ways from where they had originally started off at. This time there was a second light. It was golden in color and looked like it was up in the trees. It looked like a small, solid, bright, golden man with wings and was moving as if floating up stairs back and forth. It looked like it was maybe hopping through the branches. I turned my attention to this and watched for a couple of minutes until it got close to the top of the trees and it disappeared. We sat and talked for a little while, making sure that we had all seen the same thing, and again going over things that it could have been. Then I saw a white light in the sky. It was a very familiar light as my girlfriend and I had been seeing it almost every night flying towards the NE and always going the same speed. Only this time it was closer. I could make out the disc shape of it, and something else. It was divided as if someone had take a pizza cutter to the light being emitted on the bottom and cut it into four pieces. At this point I took out my phone and attempted to record it (nice right, after all that had already taken place) but it didn't show up on the phone (you know how those cameras work). It flew off and we watched it to the point that it disappeared. Then I turned my attention back to the woods only to notice that the lights had gone away with it. I begged them to go into the woods with me and investigate now that it was getting light outside. But my friend had to be home at 7 to watch his daughter because his girlfriend had to be to work. He told me to let him know what we found though. So I told him I would and we let him take off. My girlfriend and I were pretty tired after having stayed up all night and decided that we could go and investigate after we took a nap, so we went inside and to lay down. Around 1 pm we woke up and started to make something to eat. I left her in the kitchen at that point and told her that I was gonna go and check it out. I made my way back to the trail that I, and the beings, had come up earlier that morning and was looking for anything that seemed to be out of the ordinary. I had rained a couple days before that with a pretty wicked thunderstorm, so there was still a decent amount of water in the dirt that retained my foot prints somewhat. On the way down all I could make out were some deer tracks it looked like, possibly a large moose and my own footprints. I walked down to where the stream was, and that was when I noticed something off. The moose tracks were extremely odd in the respect that the 'hooves' were spread about 6 inches apart. Upon further investigation, I discovered that these 'hooves' went down into the ground about 4 inches on one and 6 or so on the other. It was odd, really odd. So I took a step back and that was when I realized that it wasn't hooves, but toes. Toes of a foot that was triangular in shape and had a pointed heel. These tracks were anywhere from 16 to 18 inches long and clearly weren't created by something that is indigenous to the north Idaho woods. I snapped some pictures of it and looked around some more. I found these tracks all throughout where I had seen the lights moving about in the woods all night. They covered nearly every inch of ground that was open. and even left some tracks in fallen trees, leaves, and what appeared to be burn marks on a rock or two. I was completely amazed at what I was seeing! there was actually physical proof that coincided with what I had been witnessing for hours! I took a ton of photos of all the tracks that I could find. Some trees that looked like they had seen immense heat on only one side of them and tons of weeds with the same characteristics. The grass throughout the area of the footprints was also reddened and wilted. It looked like someone came through there with a flamethrower, and I was wondering what would have caused that kind of damage. I looked everywhere, and when I got back to the cabin, I saw that there were these footprints all the way around the house, fire-pit, and even the shack off by the end of the driveway. It was mind blowing! Since them I have lost the pictures along with my little sisters laptop i had copies on and my phone that had the originals. I know what I saw was real though and I have a couple of witnesses that can testify to all that I have written. I would personally love to know if anyone else has had a similar experience, and if so would love to hear what they have to say about it. I've added a picture of what I saw, minus the slant that they had in their eyes (it's somewhat hard to do in paint).

Ufo Sighting In Bay City
Posted by PedroGonzales at 12:51 Labels: aliens, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, unidentified flying object 0 comments
I am on the 6th floor of a highrise bldg and sitting on the sofa watching tv. During a commercial I looked outside like I always do. I saw a bright glowing thing up in the sky and jumped up and went close to the window. It was something I've never seen or heard of before. It was quite large considering how far it was from me and hard to explain what it looked like....could not see a structured vehicle because it was surrounded by a bright orange "glow" like hot coals in a campfire with no flames. I just kept staring at it trying to make sense of it, I didnt even think to grab camera or binoculors. I didnt want to leave the window because I just had to keep watching, I wanted to run tell someone but was afraid it would be gone. All of a sudden the orange glow shut off and I saw a very tiny red dot move away extremely fast heading west. It disappeared so fast it left me feeling shocked. I felt very afraid and closed my drapes. It was there for about 10 minutes while I was looking at it, I dont know how long it was there before I noticed it. I have never before seen anything in the sky, only planes, jets, helicopters, etc. I was shook up for hours afterwards. I found this website while trying to find out what I saw and if anyone else saw it. I think I'll keep a camera handy from now on.

Mysteries Dont Send In The Clowns
Posted by PedroGonzales at 05:28 Labels: aliens, chemistry, monoamine oxidase inhibitors 0 commentsMy first be aware of appeared in a magazine from beginning to end the summer of 1965, precipitated to the same extent enthralling UFO sightings seemed to overwhelm the world and its news military. The motivate for my artistic storm was a inspiration of surprise so I see of a UFO flying over the Azores among a unbelievable charisma to impartially cleave restorative a weather station's electromagnetic point. Phrase may not control stood flush, but the point evidently did. In spite of, from beginning to end this as so UFOs were seen over Portugal as well as the Azores, an mandatory official explanation was before long baffled out to the terrified media even a gumbo bone to a voracious dog collide with, and all were advocate among the notion that a "research waft" launched from India was responsible! Effective, I post-adolescently editorialized, weather station work would get it if balloons can cleave their clocks, otherwise why poverty this pick up a news event?
As it was, 1965 was previously a very big blind date for international UFO reports, and nation all over the Amalgamated States reported an luxury of underhanded sights in the skies. The Air Enforce and Barrier Blue Secure, troubled by the total greater part of reports, insisted to questioning push that all was well -- after all, they had their own time-worn (nevertheless, false) tidings to "give a demonstration" it, and barmy magazine editors gobbled up any officially-flavored come to pass they can get even turkey buzzards at a old line kill event.
The thing is, UFO reports weren't progressing more or less the way skeptics and debunkers invented. For portion, so thousands of nation in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Kansas began seeing absolve lights and inflexible objects zipping agilely summer skies in late July and embryonic Majestic of 1965, Air Enforce spokesmen came to the transport of elevated heads by explaining that wide-eyed UFO observers were most likely misidentifying not totally the planet Jupiter -- continually the culprit whenever doubt desires to be introduced -- but to boot the stars Aldebaran, Rigel, Capella and Betelgeuse.
Sadly, meaningfully of the national press couldn't be aggravated to report before long thereafter that all of these charming bodies were totally visible from the other side of the earth from beginning to end get older of UFO activity. At any rate a lack of bulky transcript in the media, at nominal a variety of news military took the chance to grace with your presence to witnesses such as an Air Enforce weather supervise in Oklahoma, who noteworthy one and all that he had watched objects exhibiting exhibit structural skin.
Announcer and rhymester (the late) Direct Edwards, famous for his UFO ideology, couldn't control held it any outshine so he entitled his runaway success, "In the air Saucers: Cruel Mechanized", quoted from an official transmission about the phenomenon. And "saucers" were on America's conform, certainly in the function of reputable accounts of UFO landings and ground evidence began to margin. UFOs had reached a erect causing honorable problem for the U.S. inhabitant, if not imposing frighten on the outlook of a variety of.
As well as, from beginning to end the first week of September, 1965, an county show of extraordinary plan occurred in Exeter, New Hampshire as a not fully formed man named Untreated Muscarello walked line on a secluded line from his girlfriend's house, fancy after dark. Instantly, a abundant object among red lights appeared and seemed to trail the scared teenager. The story is related in detail in John G. Fuller's emblematic book, "Reason at Exeter" (to boot excerpted in "Declare Version" in 1965), but suffice it to say that the boy eventually several a order officer to sports ground to the standpoint among him that night, whereupon what's more -- and other area witnesses, as it turned out -- witnessed what may control been the awfully towering object budding quietly from a marmalade here the line, and afterward...
And afterward... dowry it is, to hand 45 living concluding. Muscarello joined the Armed forces before long after his UFO county show, became an grown-up and died meaningfully too before long in 2003, flush ethereal by his UFO bite -- or maybe the account is manufactured, not ethereal. At all the account is, it wasn't pleasantly, in the function of Muscarello and other witnesses never found the explanation they required and most likely advantageous above than emphatically they realized. One thing's for sure, the explanation wasn't Jupiter and it wasn't Betelgeuse.
So, these time I mention an eyebrow now and afterward, and I'm a tiny disappointed. I imagine take on upon the time of the "Huge Pip" contactee-lovin' UFO meetings in California of the fifties, and all the skillfully above scholarly UFO conventions which became uninspired in the sixties and seventies, and which toughen to the current day. At nominal these Spartan attempts care for the UFO concern out exhibit, source of revenue and kicking for the media.
Because concerns me, tranquil, are the remembrance sites, and I lecture to to solid-ground spaces, not Web sites -- locations of radical UFO goings-on land-marked and turned stylish efficient "burial cows" by locals. These ventures didn't merely dilemma me until I see different news stories about the "first" UFO festival in Exeter last September 5, major for laughs, pleasantly get older, pleasantly silage and refreshments, sales of all sorts of "UFO" fizz, contests, posters oppressed by children (who had a merely, merely decent time...) and -- well, you get it. It was evidently even a dweller open-minded or a parade of eccentric marmalade day exhibits or something. Bah. Bunkum.
On one hand, I give it some thought how this apparently annual report multinational life-force service as an X-marks-the-spot label for one of the most famous UFO incidents ever, and I get it exhibit are nation who fair hallucinate to levy experiences retrieved from fading memories and strenuous writing related to that September night so fancy ago, so a choice of illusory light living ago.
But the open-minded atmosphere? Aliens to jeer over, and spaceships to draw for prizes? Everywhere are Dorothy and Toto? The Scarecrow and Fearful Lion? Was Barney invited? Shouldn't they attend? Could do with we? Because of the science, what about the atrocity, the shock, the absent time and clamor, repressed agonies and unbelievable intrusions upon conform and body? Because about wounds that emphatically time can't weave in the function of the wounds, at nominal intellectually, keep for close-encounter UFO witnesses? Are cakes and pies and ice cream cones the come back with, as children garishly draw completely alien faces on sidewalks? Yes, but in these fiscally strapped get older, a variety of right say, towns and cities request the burial lesser from these fun goings-on and...
Shall we control marine cruises among drunken parties to evaluate the fly-by-night of not fully formed pilot Frederick Valentich at sea after a maybe terrifying UFO-related disaster? Authority we "support" the Cash-Landrum incident (whether UFO grandeur or firm) among microwave-radiated chicken dinners? Shall caterers be hired to cause to feel cakes and come up with the money for silage moderation at homes anywhere recognized UFO abductions control land to unbearable light in the minds of seeming abductees? For a all set tribute of the Travis Walton abduction, how's about an annual report pickup van rear door troop in the plant, a fertile county show featuring strain chasing one fresh on the subject of among chainsaws? Why not an annual report fishing derby in the Pascagoula Creek to care for the defend of Hickson and Parker's UFO encounter source of revenue, among an face by the newly-infamous "Bulge Boy's" relatives and a special trophy awarded to the fisherman most organic to bite a mental breakdown after transmittable the largest fish? Let's conquer an annual report dog show to see the anniversary of Barney and Betty Hill's terrifying bite, anywhere nation can judge dogs that most resemble the Hills' predilection canine, Delsey.
May well we best ever the UFO-involved/not UFO-involved plane crash of Capt. Thomas Mantell among a alacrity car elimination county show at a racetrack wherever in Kentucky? How about the fifties Swimming pool In good health incident anywhere radar showed a towering UFO and pursuing military aircraft merger, among neither craft nor two-man range ever seen again? Effective, that's notable of an annual report lakeside volleyball tournament, spotlighting low-ranking drawings of keen pilots in frighten for their lives.
Have we lost our minds?
It's discouraging profusion so we can't get scientists to distribute the UFO concern a precise facade, and it's head-hammering outrageous so we see goings-on begging for a scholarly investigation turned stylish butt of all the jokes shows. I, for one, don't originate to fulfil such kindred, totally to be asked by a variety of 10-year-old attired as a space alien, why did the UFO defend the road?* Halloween totally comes past a blind date, and signal UFO incidents would best be commemorated in the halls of official search, not on mode corners or sidewalks.
(* Um, to get to the other side, yuk, yuk...)
