"Then a helicopter came and was hovering around the area of the lights as if it was watching the orange things. But they just kept moving in the sky and then they literally just vanished!

Australian UAP researchers have long been aware of an entity case from the 1950's, from North Queensland. Indeed, my own Australian entity catalogue carried the following entry:

"Oct (?) 1954(?) North Qld, Hall.

A Mr Hall was inspecting sheep when he heard a whirring noise. He then saw six tiny white dots in the sky which landed. Close up they were ten metre tall cylinders with a rim or ramp around their bottom. About a dozen "men" got out and formed a group. They then re-entered the objects and took off. Mr Hall reportedly blacked out and had a vision of his property as a "fertile paradise." He says within two months this had occurred. (Sources cited were "Sunday Telegraph" Undated, quoting Sir magazine dated 23 Jan 1955."

No one I know of has ever been able to track down either the "Sunday Telegraph" article or the 1955 "Sir" magazine, until now.

I recently had an email from US researcher Luis R Gonzalez who informed me that Mikhail Gershtein had located a copy of the relevant "Sir" magazine article. Gonzalez kindly forwarded me a digitised copy. Here, then is the story as carried by an original source.

THE STORY:

The front cover reveals that the magazine was called "Sir! A magazine for males." W C Hall's account appeared in the February 1955 edition. The cover features a coloured drawing of a man set in what appears to be a desert setting. In the sky appear 10 white oval oval shaped objects. Across the drawing is a banner "Flying saucers on my ranch" by W C Hall. Pages 14 to 16 contain his account which reads:

The flying objects that looked like petrol tanks came down on my ranch in Australia on a dull grey day in October. With my own eyes, I saw six of them whirl gently to earth like helicopters with propellers.

My ranch in the North Queensland section has 15,000 acres. It was once like any other Australian ranch, but now it's the weirdest place this side of Jupiter. But that's getting ahead of the story.

It all began when a heard of locusts swarmed over the pastures during the last days of August. The locusts destroyed things to the point where my cattle and sheep were hard put for something to eat. And they were getting leaner as the days went by.

One day in October while on an inspection tour I rode my horse to the top of a hill in a remote section of the ranch. The sky was overcast but vision was good across the broad plain that stretched before my eyes. In the distance I saw cattle grazing, trying to salvage something from the ravaged earth.

Then I heard a soothing whirring sound that almost made me drowsy. High in the sky I saw six tiny white dots descending, and the dots grew bigger and bigger as they approached the ground.

The objects which resembled petrol tanks, landed in the open pasture about three quarters of a mile away from me. As they touched the earth, the atmosphere became strangely calm. There was no breeze, no draft.

I rode my horse down the hill and towards the objects in order to get a closer view. They were about 30 feet tall, and elliptical in shape with a rim, or ramp running like a ribbon across their middle sections.

Then I saw people get out of the objects. There were about 12 men and from a distance they appeared to be perfectly normal. They were garbed in uniforms like those worn by American paratroopers whom I saw in Australia during the war. All stood around in a huddle and seemed to be discussing something.

Fascinated and curious I rode towards them. When I arrived at a point about three hundred meters away, the strangers got out of their huddle and, for the first time, saw me.

For a moment they paused indecisively, then turned and ran back to their machines. I was close enough now to see ladders of about ten rungs which hung from the side of each of the tank-like objects. The men scurried up those ladders and disappeared inside.

Then I heard the soothing whirring sound again as the six machines rose from the earth. My horse reared violently and thing began to happen. As I dismounted, the air became completely clear, and I dropped to the ground. I didn't know why. I just dropped to the ground.

As I lay there I saw an odd-coloured kind of exhaust fume spewing out of the objects and settling towards the earth. For about five minutes the things hung suspended in the sky, giving off the fumes before zooming off to become, once again, only white dots in the gray overcast.

All muscular activity ceased in my body, and I became as shaky as a mass of jelly. I blanked out, but while in that state of suspended consciousness a remarkable thing occurred. I became clairvoyant and events which were destined to come true paraded before my eyes.

It was almost as if something had been inserted in my mind. In my vision, instead of locust-ravaged land, I saw my ranch a broad plain of fertility exceeding the imagination.

Everything came on bountiful waves. Sheep, cattle, grass and all manner of animal and plant life grew and multiplied at an astonishing rate of speed.

While these visions were before my eyes, I lost all sense of gravity and I floated about five feet into the air.

In the distance I saw the tiny white objects giving out now with a whining sound as they faded into the gray overcast.

When I awoke from this trance, my first contact with reality was the sight of my horse. He was lying on the ground, senseless. I tugged at the reins for about five minutes before getting him on his feet.

Riding back to the ranch I wondered if I had been dreaming. I told my wife about the six strange objects, and she thought they must have been some new type of airplane.

Two months later, across the fields of my ranch I noticed an amazing transformation in vegetation. Ring bark trees stood like forests where a few weeks before the land was devoid of vegetation. Rabbits, the plague of good pasture land, bounded everywhere, devouring the grass as fast as it sprouted from the earth.

The next year on the ranch was fantastic.

Grass grew, not as a natural process, but came up matted, creating a soft rug of green over hundreds of acres on both sides of the river which ran through the ranch.

Chickens multiplied like rabbits, and some of the newly-born chicks had two feet. Cattle almost doubled themselves in number, and some of the heifers were born with five legs. The wool of my 15,000 sheep became thicker than ever before making shearing more difficult.

The only explanation for all this, it seemed to me, would be the six strange objects which descended into the pasture that October day. The oddly colored exhaust fumes they gave off must have contained atomic radiation capable of changing the genes of animal life. And even vegetation was affected by those magnetic rays.

The rapid increase in the number of cattle and sheep was accompanied by a corresponding increase in the problem of jack-rabbits. These pest eat up the pasture, devour seedlings and even under normal conditions vast sums are spent in trapping and poisoning the creatures.

But now the jack-rabbits may bankrupt the ranch at a time when production is at a peak.

My wife's going to have a baby not so long from now, and every night I pray the gene changes won't affect the normal life of our child.

COMMENTS:

1. In the article, distances are quoted as "three quarters of a mile" at one stage, while later as "three hundred meters." This is an odd mix of imperial and metric systems. In 1955, Australia used imperial measures, e.g. miles, etc. Later the country adopted the metric system, e.g. kilometres.

2. The word "color" in Australian English is spelt as "colour." If the article was indeed written by an Australian they would use Australian English. The article uses American English. Of course W C Hall's original Australian English account may have been edited into American English.

3. The words "pasture" and "fields" used in the article, which are of English origin, are not used in Australian English. Here the word used to describe these terms is "paddock."

4. Regarding locust plagues in the month of August. I am very doubtful that this is accurate. I checked several sources on the Internet and confirmed mu suspicions that plague of locusts are indeed a summer phenomenon i.e. November to February here in Australia in Queensland. In addition, the article uses the word "heard" of locusts, whereas in Australia we refer to a "swarm" of locusts.

5. The article uses the term "ranch," which is not a term which would be used by an Australian writer. Here the term "station" has been in long term use. Again, this suggests the article was either written or edited by someone using American English.

6. The setting of the account is delightfully vague. It is set in "North Queensland" which is a awfully large area. No specific location is given. There is no mention of a town or locality.

7. All in all, it seems a delightful tale, more likely written by an American, setting it in a vague overseas location, and drawing on imagery of genetic radiation and magnetic rays. However, I'll remain open minded enough if any blog reader can suggest otherwise.

FINAL NOTE:

There is also a famous Australian UAP photograph (click here to view) which is said to have been taken by a W C Hall in Queensland in 1954. My own catalogue of Australian photographs merely states:

"Oct 1953 North QLD Mr W C Hall photographed a dense looking tropical hat shaped UFO of circular form with a prominent dome on top as it hovered over a herd of sheep. ("Sir" magazine Feb 55.)"

You will note that it is a "W C Hall" and from "North Qld" suggesting that it is the same Hall as the entity case described above.

JUNE 01, 2013 - UNITED STATES - A series of UFO lights were seen hovering low in the night skies over Perry Hall, Baltimore County, Maryland. This was recorded on the 1st of June, 2013.

EYE-WITNESS REPORT:

At approximately 9:25-9:30 at night - at home, watching TV with mom, when we hear dad called out, "Strange lights outside!" Immediately we ran out to see reddish orange, glowing orbs moving in a seamless, straight line, appearing over the house line from a southeasterly direction.

Four moved out first and continued in their direction, moved further away, then paused and formed a diamond shape. At this point, I finally thought to go back inside the house and grab my phone. I was able to record four more orbs moving into sight at same constant speed from same direction.

I looked back to where the original diamond-shaped UFO formation was, and it was gone. Mom ran back in house to grab binoculars to observe them closer. They looked just like bright, orange, glowing orbs. Four orbs were moving steadily away to same place as the previous four that had made the diamond formation. They made same shape, however it was too far away for my phone camera to pick up. They eventually disappeared into thin air. I didn't detect any sound coming from any of the objects. Van de Roer has published the incredible images in a book titled Carlo Van de Roer: The Portrait Machine Project

The camera works by connecting subjects to two hand sensors that are connected to the camera via cables. Polaroid film is inserted into the camera. Once the subject has both their left and right hands on the sensors, the AuraCam begins to gather "biofeedback", measuring the points of resonance around certain areas in the body.

"The measured points of resonance are connected with certain organs and the electromagnetic field of the person; this information about the energetic and auric qualities of a human being are then delivered to the camera," the AuraCam website claims.

However the Aura Imaging website says that it only produces an electronic interpretation of what it believes an aura looks like.

"It does not photograph the actual Aura. There's nothing that exists which can do this," the website says.

The camera assigns values to different aspects of your electromagnetic field which can be influenced by things like body temperature, humidity and static electricity in and around the person being photographed.

The finer scientific details of how it work are unclear, the site claims this is the secret to its patented technology.

Each of Van de Roer's photographs has an accompanying chart explaining what the aura readings mean.

Orange for example "represents energy with mental direction", the chart explains. "You are alive, artistic, perceptive creative. Constructive self expression is important to you."

Van de Roer wouldn't be drawn on his personal beliefs, and whether these portraits prove the existence of an "other worldly" field, but said he had always been interested in the idea that technology could reveal something that was "otherwise unseen, something that we can only see through a photographic process".

"I started making these portraits as a way for me to unpack some ideas about this, to explore the relationships between photographer, camera, subject and viewer," he said. - Herald Sun

Auras: How to See, Feel ">MAN WITNESSED ANIMAL MUTILATION BY ALIENS

NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA - 1964-06-18 - UNEDITED: Alien "animal mutilation" witnessed by my golfing buddy in 1964 at McClellan air base in Sacramento. My friend has agreed to talk to you upon my request. He is Paul of the well a known family. His brother is a majority owner of an NBA basketball franchise.

He is 78 years old and lives here in Sacramento California. He is the only person I have ever heard that has witnessed animal mutilations by alien beings not the military!

He saw 6 small midget like beings dressed in what he describes as uniforms? While he was waiting for his father from work at the base. He witnessed the disklike craft (18ft diam, 8 ft high)land at the north end of the base and settle down without landing pods or gear. It illumnated the area bright as day after landing. Shortly thereafter he witnessed a half dozen of these beings depart the craft for the better part of a half hr at a distance of approximately 50 yards. The midgets appeared to be working around the animals(cows)on the ground.

He didnt know what to think about the incident until he read an article in the newspaper the next day regarding animal mutilations.

Call me for his phone number. Better hurry as his health is failing. He is lucid and he remembers the incident as if it happened yesterday. He is credible and is the most honest truthful human I know.

I think this is an important sighting as it debunks the theory about the military being responsible....

I too have witnessed a UFO while a teenager in Texas in 1964. It was much different than Paul's sighting. My sighting was similar to Jimmy Carter's sighting. I and 2 of my high school chums saw a gigantic luminous "Sphere" (like the moon without craters) at night on a lonely Texas road. This was not a machine or disk that engaged my car several times. There was no contact(did not check the time?) just appeared to be observing us. Then after several departures and returns over my car it dashed out of sight. It seemed like just a few minutes but who knows how much time passed as we did not check the time of the sighting too excited back then as teenagers! - "MUFON CMS"

600 LASHES...SAUDI ARABIA'S LATEST SAVAGERY

On July 29, Raif Badawi, founder of the Free Saudi Liberals website, was sentenced to 600 lashes and seven years in prison. His crime? Insulting Islam, speaking ill of Saudi Arabia's religious police and, most puzzling of all, "parental disobedience."

Badawi is a 30-year-old man. Can an adult be imprisoned for disobeying his father? In Saudi Arabia, where all citizens are treated as children, the answer to that question is "yes." The Saudi dictatorship doesn't trust its citizens to speak their mind, and so impose paternalistic and draconian laws to keep in check those who might think differently.

Women in particular are infantilized, and their ability to move around, unaccompanied by a male guardian, is severely restricted. Women are banned from driving. They cannot go to coffee shops or restaurants alone. And according to Saudi law, a woman cannot decide for herself to go on religious pilgrimage. She must have a man's approval and be accompanied by her guardian.

Saudi Arabia is considered a close U.S. ally. Yet every few weeks a case like Badawi's reminds us that despite a massive PR effort, the Kingdom remains a vicious tyranny that will lock you away for speaking openly about politics or religion.

In June, seven men were convicted and sentenced to prison terms up to 10 years for writing posts on Facebook about political protests. The men were held in prison for a year and a half before they were even charged and tried, according to international human rights organizations.

Also in June, two prominent women's rights activists, Wajeha al Huweidar and Fawzia Al-Oyouni, were convicted and sentenced to a ten-month prison term on charges of inciting separation between a husband and a wife. Reportedly, they had tried to help a Quebec woman escape her abusive husband and bring her to the Canadian embassy in Riyadh. In fact, the Saudi government had been consistently harassing these women and used these trumped up charges to finally silence them.

And the list goes on.

The 23-year-old poet and writer Hamza Kashgari, who was accused of insulting the prophet Muhammad after he tweeted three short messages on Twitter describing an imagined meeting with the prophet, has spent almost a year and a half in prison, and his fate is still uncertain.

Khaled al Johani, a teacher in Riyadh, was thrown in prison in 2011 after he gave an interview to the BBC, calling for democracy in Saudi Arabia. He was released last year.

Since its creation in 1932, Saudi Arabia has been ruled by the male descendants of the kingdom's eponymous founder, Ibn Saud. The current ruler, King Abdullah, has been lauded in recent years for taking steps toward reform such as the inauguration in 2009 of the King Abdullah Science and Technology University where men and women can study together - a first in the kingdom. And last year in Vienna, he opened the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue - a center supposedly aimed at promoting comity and respect between religions.

But if the Saudi king was really interested in dialogue and respect, he might have started in his own theocratic, gender-apartheid dictatorship. Why did he need to fund a 20 million a year center in Austria when his own country bans Christians from importing Bibles and building houses of worship? Why, indeed, did he need to fly to Europe for such ceremonial ribbon-cutting when in his own country he could have stopped the beheading of Abdul Hamid Al Fakki and Amina bint Nasser for "witchcraft"? If he cared about respecting people of other faiths, how about letting non-Muslims step foot in the city of Mecca where they are banned? Or not arresting people for celebrating Christmas? Why not stop the printing of Saudi textbooks that call Jews and Christians "apes and pigs"?

Let's be clear. Saudi Arabia is still a brutal dictatorship that harasses and imprisons liberals, democrats, activists, bloggers and journalists. It's a place where women don't have freedom of movement or access to the same services as men. The guardianship system ensures that women are treated as children who needs a man's permission to do anything of consequence.

We look away because Saudi Arabia buys Western arms and sells oil at a steady price. It may seem like a good, stable arrangement. But it's a devil's bargain and lurking beneath the surface are deeper trends--the same ones that led to chaos and collapse in Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen, Libya and Syria in the past two years alone. Betting on Saudi stability is a crucial mistake.

Activists such as Badawi are silenced in order to sow fear among others who might dare to challenge the dictatorship. This week, by imprisoning the young campaigner, the Saudi government proved, yet again, that it cannot tolerate those who think differently. A government that treats its people with such contempt deserves respect from no one. And rather than maintain the cozy diplomatic relations with this tyranny, the West should apply massive pressure to get Badawi and other political prisoners released.

So I was in Nevada this past summer and we went to Laughlin and my girlfriend and I sat in the hotel room discussing our middle school lives and I told her about how my best friend and I always loved to find ghosts and hope to catch one. At the same time my mom and my grandmother came back from gambling (typical when you go to Nevada) and caught the last part of what I was saying and told me to stop. So naturally I questioned why I should and my mom started speaking to my grandmother in Spanish and my grandmother looked distraught. She began to speak more in Spanish and my mom began translating that when she was a little girl she lived somewhere near LA. And one day she was playing inside the house and my grandmother was with her and she told me that when she turned there was a big huge bird standing in front of a glass screen door with big red eyes. My grandmother called it "un diablo" and when they saw it, it screeched and flapped it's wings and flew off breaking the glass door. They said that later while they lived there in LA a reporter was killed and riots broke out in the streets and flying overhead was the same figure. What is it?
