Dear Reader, In 1947 there was a historic UFO crash in Roswell, NM. An Unidentified Flying Object had crashed into a field that was part of a farm owned by Mac Brazel. Recent Ufo Sighting In Mexico

Just heard of a new recent UFO sighting in Mexico that was posted as a comment here. I just wanted to share the experience that Jim had with what appears to be another UFO encounter.

my fiance and myself were in Ixtapa mexico on vacation the week of feb 16- 23 on feb 20 at around 12:30 am we decided to go out and sit on the beach. while we were siting there looking at the stars I saw a what i thought was a airplane with a bright blinking light, but it wasn't moving as i looked further to the left there was a smaller object that was moving at a high rate of speed towards the blinking light and then stopped. and then rose slowly. at this time I think we were in a state of shock at what we were seeing. then suddenly there were seven more objects in a half moon shape moving towards the other two. thew stopped and hovered below the largest object with the blinking light. then two started moving erratically up and down. then in a instant they all took of horizonally a rate of speed and then up out of sight.

Ghost Rockets Sweden Mini Ufo Flap

Sometime early in 1946, strange objects began to appear in the skies above Sweden. It wasn't the first time this sort of thing had happened. During WWII neutral Sweden had been at the forefront of Allied research into Hitler's V weapons due to it's proximity to the research site at Peenem"unde, and it's "luck" to be the crash site of several wrongly directed V2 rockets (timeline here). But in early 1946, the war had been over for more than six months. The Nazi's had long before abandoned their V2 research sites and they were now under new management (our old friends the Soviets). So where were these new aerial phenomena coming from?

The first reports of luminous fireballs and mysterious lights in the sky started to come in during February 1946. As the months went by the sightings became both more frequent and more descriptive.

Over the course of about a year over 2000 objects would be reported in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. Most, like the picture below, would turn out to be mis-identifications of meteors and the like, but some remain unexplained.

Some of the "rockets" were seen making "maneuvers" in the skying that would be impossible for a meteor. Others were described as slow moving cigar shaped objects which is a very common report in modern UFO reports and, of course, from the 19th century mystery airship flaps. "Crashes" were observed mainly into lakes, here's some examples taken from here:

Searches were conducted for the remains of objects at crash sites and whilst some things were found, all were later put down to meteor debris. Gradually the sightings dropped off in Scandinavia and the investigation found nothing concrete although Bartoll always insisted what people were seeing was something "real".

Given the sensitivity of the events, the USA got involved and a rather interesting document exists from that time:

Further sightings were reported in other parts of Europe, mainly Greece but also in Belgium, Portugal and Italy.

So what were they? It's hardly likely that the Soviets had, within a year of the end of the Second World War, reestablished the V2 experiments and moved them on to the point of having the V2 rockets be maneuverable. It is also highly unlikely, given the situation at the time, that they'd risk an international incident by testing these over the northern European skies. I find it unlikely any other player on the international scene would get involved. Whilst the idea that these were alien spacecraft of some form is widespread, again I just don't see it. Why would they do something so distinctive from other UFO reports for just that year in just that place? Makes no sense.

Personally, based on the lack of physical evidence or witness testimony to the contrary, I believe these to be meteors and other natural phenomena reported by people already paranoid because of the world events unfolding before them, and no doubt some were embellished a little. The evidence for anything else is just so weak and scarce I can't see any other sensible explanation.

Sadly I think the ghost rockets were not as exciting as the name would suggest.

Ufo Sighting In Clarendon Hills Illinois On July 28Th 2013 Roundish Dark Grey

I already submitted a report Aug 3rd on this so to many of you it would sound like you read this. BUT the only reason I am rewriting it is because I had typed in that it was spotted in Chicago but no it was spotted in a suburb of Chicago called Clarendon Hills and it bothered me that i wrote Chicago. When filling out the paper i thought they meant basic area. Basically I was on my way home from the town of Hinsdale coming up on the border of Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills. I was on my bike with my MP3 player listening to a album called Hillsong live. I was approaching the Route 83 highway a area where cars and bikes and people can go UNDER the highway which leads to a parking lot for people to park for the train and swimming pool. Its a good short cut a lot of us do. Write before i was about to go under route 83 i saw a thing moving with a light and i thought it was a helicopter going over Route 83 and me but i didn't hear any noise and so i started turning down the volume on my MP3 player. It takes about 12 seconds for a bike to get out from underneath route 83 so that i then lost 12 seconds of seeing the sky. Therefore when i got out from under the street i looked up at the sky again. I normally would of never looked up but because of seeing something before i went under that street i looked straight up after i got out from underneath the street and saw something hovering. It looked 8 stories high the size of a plastic recyclable garbage can. But it looked small because a garbage can at that height looks small. IT was basically roundish but not fully round inbetween round and a egg. It was darkish/greyish. I think there was a red light at the bottom that was dimmed. Since it was red towards the bottom but all basically looked the same color that's why i said it had a hint of red. It was totally staying in the same spot but at the same time moving around a lot like very very fidgety and bouncy. It looked alot more controlled then a toy remote. I read a few days after the incident that small UFOs move around a lot like a boat at dock and it was something like that. I described it as bouncy and i keep those words but the word fidgety is a good word too. I stayed on my bike and just kept looking up at it as i was taking my short cut. I dont know why i didn't get off my bike to get a better look. I didn't feel scared. When i got almost a block away by the houses i glanced back and saw it still in the same spot bouncing around. The thing i saw before i went under route 83 and the thing i saw when i came back out from route 83 looked like two different things BUT i thought it was the same thing or related. The ONLY reason i sent this again is because this was spotted in Clarendon Hills not Chicago.
