This week we will be joined by special guest Nick Redfern who Worked as a freelance feature-writer/journalist for the following British Newspapaers: the London Daily Express; the People; the Western Daily Press; the Express and the Planet on Sunday (as a full time feature writer). Nick has appeared on more than 60 TV shows to promote his books and his research. In the late summer of 2004 he traveled to Puerto Rico for two weeks with a film team from the Sci-Fi Channel's series, Proof Positive, to make a documentary about the Chupacabras. He appeared on the MSNBC show Countdown with Keith Olbermann on February 9, 2005. He also traveled to Puerto Rico in September 2005 to make a show about the Chupacabras for Canada's Space Channel. Texas Chupacabra

The Cuero, Texas sheriff's office got more on their car cam than they were expecting yesterday. They got some footage of what looks like the legendary Chupacabra that sucks goat, and cattle blood and people are all hopped up. It definitely looks like something I have never seen before. Short front legs, no hair and a long snout with its tongue hanging out. They found one of these dead last year in Texas, but genetic testing turned up a mutated form of coyote [picture above].

This looks sort of like the one found last year, could be its brother, or sister. So if we are getting some mutated animals around the country, I guess you could call it a Chupacabra. Sort of looked like that thing they found on the beach in New York a couple weeks ago. But the snout is broke off and it had a long tail about three feet long. But it looked like a strange coyote with a rat snout to me.

Just think in a few years we could have these new creatures breeding and spreading all over the country. Killing practically everything that's not packing a rod, can aim straight or goes along the back roads with their window down.

Is A Chupacabra Just A Mangy Coyote

New pictures (see video) are stimulating debate.

(ABC News)- Let's get something straight: There is no real evidence that the mysterious chupacabra exists. Researchers say it's an urban (or rural) legend, like Bigfoot or the Loch Ness monster.

Not even Jack Crabtree, a retired wildlife biologist from Lake Jackson, Texas, says he believes it. And he has the pictures to prove it.

On July 4 and again two evenings later, Crabtree and his wife, Linda, said they saw a slow-moving, almost hairless animal near the creek out back of their house in Lake Jackson.

"It was immediately clear to me it was a coyote with a severe case of mange," said Crabtree, a 24-year veteran of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. (Sarcoptic mange is a condition caused by parasitic mites that can cause an animal to lose its fur.) "It was obviously sick."
