IT SEEMS THAT A PLAUSIBLE EXPLANATION FOR THE PHENOMENON IS THAT THE "UFO" WAS MERELY A LENTICULAR CLOUD, I.E. A CLOUD THAT IS SHAPED LIKE A LENS. THIS KIND OF CLOUD IS USUALLY MISTAKEN FOR ALIEN PLANES. THE COLOUR CHANGE COULD BE DUE TO "IRISATION" WHICH COULD SOMETIMES BE SEEN ON THE EDGES.

AN EXAMPLE IS THE FOLLOWING WHICH WAS SEEN OVER THE BRITISH COAST FOR ALMOST AN HOUR IN JANUARY 2009:

OF COURSE THAT COULD NOT EXPLAIN THE "A MERE MINUTE LATER [IT] DISAPPEARED IN AN INSTANT," ALTHOUGH THAT COULD VERY WELL BE AN EXAGGERATION BY THE WITNESSES.

THIS PIECE OF NEWS WAS REPORTED IN HARIAN METRO AND NOT ANY OF THE MAJOR DAILIES. DOES THAT SAY ANYTHING TO YOU?

SOMEONE MENTIONED THAT IT'S MERELY A PHOTO OF A HELICOPTER AT THE LOWEST ISO SETTING POSSIBLE. SOMEONE ELSE SAID IT'S MERELY A CLOUD FORMATION. SOME WONDERED WHETHER THE PHOTO ABOVE WAS TAKEN FROM INSIDE A ROOM, HENCE THE OBJECT WAS MERELY A REFLECTION OF A LIGHT INSIDE - BUT PROBABLY ALL THE WITNESSES WERE OUTSIDE THE BUILDING, PERHAPS EVEN SOME EVEN LOOKED UP WHILE WORKING ON THE EQUESTRIAN APPAREL NEXT DOOR. INEVITABLY, SOMEONE QUIPPED THAT IT WAS A ZIONIST PLOT TO STRAY MALAYS AWAY FROM THE TRUE PATH.

APPARENTLY THE LAST TIME A BONA FIDE UFO APPEARED IN THE COUNTRY WAS IN 1999 IN TANJUNG SEPAT, KUALA LANGAT, SELANGOR. BUT ACCORDING TO GEORGE MATANJUN, A CATHOLIC LAY MINISTER AND A CATECHIST, HENCE "DOES NOT LIE", AS REPORTED AT UFOEVIDENCE.ORG, HE SAW A UFO ON 8TH OCTOBER 2005 AT TANJUNG ARU BEACH, KOTA KINABALU.

THE RADAR STATION DID NOT PICK IT UP.

SABAHANS CERTAINLY HAVE A PENCHANT FOR EXTRA-TERRESTRIALS, FOR PROBABLY THE FIRST REPORTED UFO ABDUCTION IN THE HISTORY OF THE NATION WAS REPORTED TO HAVE HAPPENED NEAR TAMBUNAN IN FEBRUARY 2001, WHERE A MAN CLAIMED THAT A SQUARE-HEADED ALIEN WANTED TO "TAKE HIM AWAY," AND HE APPARENTLY DID DISAPPEAR FOR 11 DAYS, WHICH WAS VERY UNUSUAL - MOST "UFO ABDUCTEES" WENT MISSING FOR A MAXIMUM OF 5 DAYS. BUT CHILLINGLY, THE COORDINATOR OF THE CENTRE FOR MALAYSIAN UFO STUDIES (CENMYUFOS), AHMAD JAMALUDIN SAID, "THERE WERE SOME UFO ACTIVITIES AROUND KOTA KINABALU AT THAT TIME THAT COULD LEND SOME CREDENCE TO THE CLAIM."

Many blogs and web sites are sharing dire warnings of government imposed power interruptions as they perform "drills" to test and prove our grid is highly vulnerable to terrorist attacks.

They neglect to mention, however, that the members of the rogue US government are the terrorists. The biggest bully on the planet is the USA and everyone in the world but the American people knows it-that's why they can get away with these false flags and acts of terror for decades.

There may well be power interruptions on the planet in November, but a very likely culprit will be the Sun and its petulant spouts of coronal mass ejections which are now spewing high volumes of energy directly at Earth. It's not rocket science, and "D" at Removing the Shackles has been following it-a self-admitted amateur. She's actually very good.

Of course NASA and the rest of the US government know the chances that this will happen and of course they are keeping mum about it. They'd like to take credit for any interruptions, I'm sure.

Just be aware. Anything could happen when you take the CMEs into consideration along with the promised "drills" the government claim are so necessary.

As we learned with Hurricane Sandy a year ago, if there are power interruptions, people can be stuck in elevators, the incapacitated can't get out of high rises, bank machines don't work, stores are closed, it's really dark, and OMG-THE TV DOESN'T WORK! No Internet, you probably can't recharge your iPhone, iPad, iPod, garage doors don't open automatically any more, refrigerators and freezers go off... the list gets long when you think about it. Generators become man's best friend.

If you're new and don't know that in every false flag event we know of, including 9/11, the government has scheduled "drills" and just happen to have FEMA, medics, extra policing, etc. on hand. What foresight! What planning! What conniving drivel! Their so-called "drills" always go live and then SHTF.

The cabal is flat out desperate now to retain control and they continue to march forward with their heavily orchestrated schemes to manipulate the masses and inflict destruction, misery and depopulation.

It's war, and we need to be on our guard, prepared for anything-all the while expecting the best, and meditating on a peaceful transition.

The Galactics are ready and waiting, Tolec says, with their "screaming fast ships" docked behind the moon and can be here in a flash with their highly advanced technologies if the cabal pulls another stunt like they tried in S. Carolina; the "October Surprise" we were warned about last year.

They have the American people on edge now, destitute, starving, homeless, government shutdowns interrupting services, threat of WWIII, drone strikes on American citizens, bombs going off on city streets, directed energy weapons blowing up a fertizlizer plant, NSA spying on everything we say and do, journalists murdered in cold blood, scuffles with vets and arresting marching truckers in Washington, arresting vets in NYC, arresting people peacefully protesting Monsanto and GMOs, the Obamacare train wreck, gun confiscation, food stamps about to be cut off... the anxiety and fear are mounting in the unaware. They want THAT, too.

One more challenge-like a major power outage-could trigger anarchy in some areas. They already did a test in Detroit in September and New York City experienced commuter woes, too. They hand pick the locations of these "drills" so you can bet it will be a place where they get the most bang for their buck; heavily populated areas where as many people as possible will be affected and more liable to create chaos.

Despite Detroit officials admitting it was intentional, you'll see Internet sites claiming it's a conspiracy theory. Of course! It's always a conspiracy theory! Whatever.

Conspiracy theories didn't get us where we are today on this planet. It's time people woke up and smelled the coffee. It's rancid, but we automatons keep drinking it. Cheers!

I must admit that when I read the wording of the first White House petition, it made me cringe with embarrassment, given that the UFO phenomenon, is now so undeniable & may turn out to be, a very big threat indeed. The wording of the petition smacks of a continuing mistrust in your government & the military. It's plainly targeted at getting the Obama administration to confess to alien contact & admit some kind of conspiracy that quite probably, harps back to the days of Roswell.

Call me simplistic if you like, but it seems to me, that the responsibility of the people today, must be first to get the Obama administration to disclose the current UFO presence & then to focus on any threat, that they may bring.

I can only think the first petition was pitched the way it was, in some forlorn hope & expectation that an admission by the administration, would provide a sensational & entertaining media scenario, from which money could be made from book sales! The fact is, that the content & tone of the Paradigm petition, sounded so much like witchcraft & hocus-pocus, that The White House, has snatched the opportunity

in their response, to finally nail the old 'alien/conspiracy' chestnut, forever! And who can can blame them for it, given they were offered such a glorious opportunity, on a plate! They must have clapped like seals, when they first got sight of the petition.

Whilst all this historic, catharsis effort has been going on, the more important & immediate threat of the UFOs there in our skies today, continues to be overlooked.

I guess from now on, we all need to promote the UFO issue more urgently, in order to meet the immediate challenge. The goalposts for E.T., must surely move, from now on.

To that end, those people who have taken the time to read my recent sighting report in '"The UFO Chronicles"', will know why we are getting increasingly concerned, about the growing number of UFO sightings, here in The U.K. They've been intruding into our airspace this summer, buzzing flight paths & busy airport stacking circuits. What's more, they've been doing so, in big numbers. In fact, they seem to have been using my own backyard here in Sussex, like a personal airport, just coming & going, as they please. Now, we can all continue the long & nebulous debates about the merits of individual UFO sightings across The World or we can accept that many are true & start putting our heads together to get something done about it! I would certainly vote for the latter. After all, many of us, have the future security of our children & grandchildren, to consider, & I for one, don't intend, to let them down.

Disclosure petitions, are all good & well but involve a lot of time & talking, & so far, they seem to have got us nowhere!

I understand that yet another two E.T. petitions, have now been posted on The White House website & that signatures to each, will now need to reach 25,000, before The White House will be prepared to respond.

It will be interesting to see, if either of them, ever get to reach this increased threshold, within the timescale? The fact that there are now two petitions up there together, may lead to confusion & possible cannibalization, of each others signatures!

The urgent way ahead now, must be for an organization such as MUFON, to canvass the support of congressmen, representatives & the military. UFO's should not be about making book deals, they're about public safety.

If I've read the opinion polls correctly, then I believe that over half the U.S. population, already believe in an E.T. presence. If MUFON were to hire in some top-notch PR professionals, they would then have the means to canvass congressmen & the like, & begin to convert the huge amount of public recognition in E.T. into an open debate about the current UFO presence, & therby, begin to circumvent the current hiatus & reluctance of both The White House & the military, to disclose & discuss the UFO phenomenon. Did Frederick William Birmingham Build A Flying Machine Based On His Bizarre 1868 Ufo Vision In Parramatta Nsw

In 1980 I presented some detailed research findings into the mystery of "a machine to go through the air" - the "UFO vision" of Frederick William Birmingham in Parramatta, NSW, Australia, way back in 1868. I published a shorter version of this report in 1984 in the UFORAN magazine. I also described the affair in my 1996 book "The Oz Files - the Australian UFO Story" and wrote an article for Fortean Times in 2002, available on line at:

My original research and the increasing availability of old newspapers on line provided further tidbits about Birmingham (his engineering, mapping his 1866 insolvency; his robust "Town Hall" oratory efforts to try to get elected to the local Parramatta council; his activities as twice alderman on that council; his work as an engineer to Parramatta council on the local water supply works; his accuracy as an astronomical observer - Chris Aubeck of the Magonia Exchange list found a Sydney Morning Herald letter to the editor written by Birmingham describing a meteor in 1864) as did further research in various Parramatta and NSW archives.In September 2013 I was pleasantly surprised when my friend Paul Cropper came across references to Birmingham building a "flying machine" in local papers in 1932 and 1937!Here are the 2 items, each based on recollections of a former mayor of Parramatta Frederick Cox (mayor in 1884) a few months before he died in April 1932:From the Sydney Morning Herald, 23 January 1932:

I have been undertaking a lot of further research on this because at the very least it adds a curious wrinkle to early "dreamers" or "designers" of heavier than air flying machines - a new piece of information about the dreams and achievements in the attempts to fly in Australia.

I found the following reference in 1932 to a "prophet of Aviation - Air-mindedness in 1868" referring to E.W. Cole of Cole's Book Arcade fame predicting in 1868 "the advent in Australia of the aeroplane as a mode of travel." Cole went on to draw up many weird designs and even had some built. None successfully made it into the aerial void. Cole made a public offer of 1000 pounds in October 1882 for the first person by October 1884 to fly 100 miles and land a flying machine powered "by electrical, chemical, mechanical, or any other means, except by gas" coming to a stop in front of his book arcade. Of course no one did.

But perhaps "visionaries" or wild "dreamers" like Birmingham were thinking about Mr. Cole's 1882-1884 "flying machine" prize, perhaps, in Birmingham's case inspired by very strange "visions" and "aerial sirens."

I have long wonder about the "co-incidence" of the death of Dr. William Bland in Parramatta in the week leading up to Birmingham's "UFO vision" on the night of 25-26 July 1868. Dr. Bland's death was announced in the Sydney Morning Herald of 22nd July 1868, his well attended funeral was reported on 24 July 1868. The local and political elite attended in large numbers, including members of the local Parramatta council. Birmingham was twice alderman on the council between 1865 to early in 1868. Unstated in the newspaper coverage about Dr. Bland's death was that he was the first person in Australia "to gain real significance in Australian aviation... when, in March 1851, he drew up detailed plans of his "Atmotic Ship" - an airship to be powered by a steam engine. Unfortunately Bland's Atmotic Ship never made it to construction stage. If it did it would have been the first "steam-powered airship", a feat achieved in September 1852, but not in Australia (Greg Copley "Australians in the Air").

I was left wondering if the coincidence of Bland's death just prior to the July 1868 "vision" of "a machine to go through the air" inspired Birmingham in some way. His "flying ark" was nothing like Bland's "airship." Nor was Birmingham's 1872 daylight sighting. There has been speculation that Bland's plans, unrealised in Australia, may have inspired Count Zepplin. William Dean flying the unpowered, lighter-than-air vehicle "The Australasian" in February 1858 became Australia's first aerial adventurer.

So there were some aerial efforts about in the era that Birmingham had his strange vision.When Chris Aubeck, co-ordinator of the pre-1947 UFO & Fortean research list "Magonia Exchange and co-author with Jacques Vallee of "Wonders in the Sky - Unexplained Aerial Objects from antiquity to modern times" (2009), contacted me recently about clarifying the date of death of Frederick William Birmingham I shared the gist of the newly learnt information - that Frederick Birmingham had apparently built (or more likely drew up a design or made a model) of a "flying machine" that may have been based on his "vision" of 1868 and his daylight sighting of 9 March 1873.Chris cryptically mentioned he had gone down a similar path "and reached The Rover." He clarified that this was "what Birmingham called his machine."Well, I certainly look forward to learning the details of what Chris has found.So I guess you could still say that after all these years I'm still lost in the thrall of Birmingham's "vision" of "a machine to go through the air."

Ufo Sighting In Charleston

This occurred years ago, I'm doing this so there is some sort of a record of my sighting. I was riding my bike down a road with fairly heavy traffic in the charleston area. While riding I passed a clearing that's been cut out for power lines. I saw what looked like a large reflective globe the was in or next to the power lines. The object was motionless and the material resembled polished stainless steel. My first instinct was that this was a fixture installed by the power company. The sheer size of the object made me doubt that first instinct. I put my breaks on to get a better look, as soon as I looked down to put my kickstand down and looked back up it was gone. It may have been nearly 50 years since Betty and Barney Hill said they were abducted by a UFO, but their story continues to captivate both believers in extraterrestrials and skeptics alike.Janet Jillette of Concord said she's firmly believed in UFOs and the Hills' compelling story ever since she saw a UFO in 1973.It was Labor Day weekend and she, her son and her son's friend were riding their bicycles on Route 87 in Epping at night. Jillette said she suddenly saw a large oval object with bright lights in the sky move back and forth very quickly.She recalled her son and his friend were frightened, but she was mesmerized."It stayed with me all these years," she said. "I believe that they exist. I really do."Jillette said she saw Betty Hill speak at the annual Portsmouth UFO conference in 2002 a few years before Betty Hill passed away. The couple said they saw a large spacecraft and that they were taken aboard by aliens who examined them and released them unharmed.The couple later gained international fame as the story about their alien encounter spread.Saufley said he's convinced he had contact with extraterrestrials after a vivid dream he had in Maine. He said he dreamed a space ship flew overhead and did an MRI on him from a distance. He said his dream led to premonitions about the Fox Run Mall in Newington a year before it was built and the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks several years before they happened."I to this day don't know if it was a dream or a real experience," he said. "Improbable things happen. It's hard to tell reality from fantasy."But unlike the Hills, he said, "I have never actually seen a UFO."Marden and Ufologist and nuclear physicist Stanford Friedman recently cowrote a book titled "Captured! The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience," detailing the Hills' experience.Marden said she remembers her aunt telling her mother all about the abduction and swearing her to secrecy. She said the Hills didn't want to tell the world their story because they feared it would hurt their reputations.She said Betty Hill was concerned she could lose her job as state social worker and Barney Hill was worried he'd lose his job as U.S. Postal worker.Marden said she spent years researching the Hills' story herself and even took several trips into the White Mountains to retrace their journey on the night of the abduction. She also showed slides of the area in Thornton, located off Millbrook Road, where the Hills say the abduction took place after the aliens hovered near and over their car along Route 3 from Indian Head to Thornton. Marden said that area is now a housing development.Marden said she's convinced the abduction happened, based on everything the couple shared with her and the recorded recollections made by the couple while Dr. Benjamin Simon put them under hypnosis in Boston.She said one of the most telling clues is how the Hills were put under hypnosis separately and related the same details about their alien captors, what occurred on the spacecraft and how they were abducted.Marden said both Betty and Barney Hill said they saw eight to 11 men at a roadblock after they drove onto Millbrook Road near a steel bridge. They also said there were later approached by three men as they sat in their car."One man put his hand out and I don't know what happened," Betty Hill said on one recording Marden played."This provided evidence to me this was a real experience at this point," Marden said.During those sessions, which lasted several months, Marden said the Hills described in great detail what their captors looked like, the inside of the spacecraft, and even a star chart Betty Hill said one alien showed her when she asked the alien where they came from.Marden said the couple's car also had several spots on the body where the aliens had used a beam that made their car and bodies vibrate. The spots faded away during the winter of 1962, but Marden said when the couple put a compass on the hood of their car, the needle would just spin and spin.Some people who attended the forum said they find the Hills' story fascinating even if they remain skeptical about UFOs.Bob Reed, a retired UNH librarian, said he came to the university around the same time the news broke about the Hills' abduction in the Boston Traveler in 1965."I find it interesting that there seems to be people who've had experiences," he said.Catherine Adams of Northwood, a sophomore at UNH, said she attended the forum because her English class is reading Marden's book and she wanted to learn more about the Hill's story."I think it's possible.
