During his second visit to an Ashram in India he was blessed with his first meditation induced Satori, probably due to his having learned just how important it was to tune inwa rd into one's feeling and emotional nature. He had been through a series of energy opening groups as well as meditating daily for several months, learning how to focus his awareness exactly within the energy of whatever he would find himself feeling, while just being the non-interfering witness, allowing his inner resistances to cook through. When suddenly he found himself feeling so clear, that it was like there was one last major level of holding in the mid brain area of his nervous system. Surrendering deeply into the energy of this feeling, it slowly began to dissolve and let go until he gradually found his sense of being melted into a state of no-difference. It felt like 90% of his awareness was now outside of himself, and actually inside everything around him. He felt so within the place of at-one-ment, that the truth of what was being said seemed like it was coming from One-ness Itself. Inasmuch as what was being talked about was exactly what he was experiencing withi n his own being. He remembers being so filled with joy and reverence, so filled with grace, that everything within existence suddenly became absolutely wonderful beyond belief. It was as though everything was so alive with energy, he was so alive with energy, yet at the same time so empty of feeling any sense of separate identity, that now he could actually experience the complete inter-connectedness of everything.
